About this deal

As a flower, tuberose may smell intense and striking. As a fragrance on my skin I find it too intrusive. This applies to all fragrances with this note. I love hyacinths and their strong scent, but in perfume it soon becomes too much of a good thing for me. But that's a matter of taste. I don't mean to say that tuberose isn't something I can do with on principle. I could imagine that this note can be very stimulating in fragrances if it is not overdosed. Unfortunately, I haven't come across a perfume where she hasn't been - apparently there are many fans of tuberose overdoses.

Dominating notes include honey, bitter orange, and citruses. Other essential scents are fruity and robust, such as: But I wanted to see how the scent would develop. Maybe you just have to give him a chance to allow some time to connect with the skin and unfold his true character? Unfortunately SBN rather revealed a commodity character: All cards already played, even bubblegum smells more differentiated. From minute to minute I had the feeling that I had eaten far too many honey rolls, many, many heavy honey rolls with the cheap industrial sugar honey dönns. So --- if this - admittedly sharpened - summary is enough for you, you may stop reading here and withdraw with an "oh, how sad" or "I knew it would be" and turn to fond smells or positive surprises of an olfactory kind. We parked at Galeria Kaufhof and on the way to the staircase we had to go through the perfumery. My chance! Out of reflex I just grabbed the first perfume what fell into my hands. Well guess what : it was scandal by night.I can't identify with it. Not because I don't go to discos anymore, but because, as I said, my preference is for more subtle scents that have an exciting scent and are more interesting or profound and perhaps more innovative. Fragrances with a touch of avant-garde like some molecule perfumes or something more "sophisticated" simply suit me better. Others may of course see it differently. In addition to his successful fragrance line, Gaultier has also made a mark in Haute Couture, reinventing it by putting exceptional French savoir-faire at the service of his obsession for combining different genres, cultures, and materials. He has also dressed some of the biggest names in pop culture, including Madonna, Mylène Farmer, Kylie Minogue, and many more. Gaultier's designs have been featured in films by Pedro Almodóvar, Luc Besson, and Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and his work has been recognized with two Cesar nominations. Today, a new generation of icons is joining the extended Gaultier family, making his brand a true pop icon in the fashion industry.

Further shifts happen in the base, where the original’s signature patchouli is switched out for the warmth of sandalwood and tonka bean. But it’s not just a change in tone, it all feels more gourmand too, with the tonka bean blasting out a cherry-marzipan tune that plays in perfect harmony with that bubblegum tuberose up top. The sandalwood just smoothes everything over, making for a cosy and enveloping signature.

I was afraid that the honey in this perfume might be too much for me. In fact, I find the tuberose so dominant that it doesn't give the honey any room to develop. Tonka bean may give the tuberose a certain vanilla warmth and that typical sensual almond aroma, but it actually only serves as a supporting base and never stands out. Immediately sweet scents conquered my nose and for tenths of a second the predominant scent impression was: flowery-sweet. So far - so expectable. Perfume is a lot like music and just like music, there are different types of perfumes for different occasions. Some perfumes are symphonic arias only fit for dramatic evenings, whilst others are throwaway pop songs to enjoy for a time before moving on to the next big craze. Both of these styles have their place and whilst we always long of the heartbreaking beauty of a more operatic fragrance, we also can’t help but love something a bit cheesy every now and then either. Jean Paul Gaultier's fragrances have enjoyed worldwide success, with iconic scents such as Classique and Le Male. The brand has recently released a new fragrance, Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum Eau de Parfum Intense, which is described as having a warm woody fragrance trail and is perfect for men with a swagger. They have also released a new version of Scandal Le Parfum Eau de Parfum Intense, which is designed for women who love a good scandal. The brand offers a variety of other fragrances, including Ultra Male, Le Beau, Classique, Scandal A Paris, Scandal By Night, Scandal Pour Homme, Scandal, La Belle, and Le Male. All of these fragrances are described as intense, addictive, and indulgent, with unique and captivating scent profiles.

These commuted, eated, flew over the walkways, so that Hundi and I had to flee ourselves hasenlike hooks beating into the undergrowth.Scandal by Night does the impossible – it manages to be more fun than Scandal, which was pretty fun, to say the least. If Scandal was a night out on the town that ended up falling rather ungracefully out of a taxi then Scandal by Night is a night out on the town that ends up falling rather ungracefully out of one taxi straight into another, because when this fragrance is spritz, the party don’t stop! And then there are the arrogant, good-hearted faces on the bicycle saddles, because you do something for your health and for nature ! Scandal Perfume by Night is an even more sensual and wild scent while still maintaining the signature essence of the original Scandal perfume. Some reviewers even call it the best Scandal perfume.
