If the formula is being applying for the first time, a few coats may be required to build up a fully effective layer of rain repellent. Highly recommended. Saves time and effort in application and does a great job at both cleaning and repelling water. The price is attractive too. After proper cleaning with Fast Glass and then application of the sealant, water beaded up nicely on the glass and ran off well.
