About this deal

The brush head of the PMD Clean is also a major upgrade. I had many instances where my Clarisonic wouldn’t dry without completely disassembling and hand drying it. This meant that when I didn’t, it was likely growing bacteria that I couldn’t see with the naked eye and, in turn, contributing to breakouts, which was a major personal concern for me. The beauty of silicone on the PMD brush head is that it’s hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial, and dries almost instantly. PMD Clean vs. Foreo

PMD Clean Smart Facial Cleansing Brush FAQs What’s the difference between PMD Clean and PMD Clean Pro? PMD stands for Personal Microderm. You can read more about how PMD Beauty came about and the technology they use in their products on PMDBeauty.com. PMD Clean vs. Clarisonic Infuse mode uses positive ions to split skincare products into smaller molecules, allowing them to be more easily absorbed into the skin (use daily).I normally use my fingers to apply my skincare products, so did using the PMD Wave PRO make any difference? In all honesty, it’s hard to be absolutely sure, but I think my skin was softer, smoother, and looked more plumped up after a few weeks. Lift Mode I say the first ten days because I did experience quite a few eruptions during this time, but this is simply the result of deep cleansing and massage. Much like when you go for a professional facial and your therapist pulls all the grollies to the surface. Once this stage is over though you can revel in your new glowing skin. And enjoy using less foundation and concealer too – at least in my case. I came to the PMD Clean as a former Clarisonic user when Clarisonic went out of business. So, is the PMD better than Clarisonic? Without a doubt, yes. I was so disappointed when I found out Clarisonic was shutting down, but it’s for the better because the PMD is not only more effective—it’s much more hygienic. You rinse your face with warm water and then apply your chosen cleanser. Wet the PMD Clean and move the brush head in circular motions around your face for as long as you wish. When done, simply rinse both your face and the facial cleansing device, pat your face dry, and leave the PMD Clean to air dry. I tried the device with several different cleansers ( including my beloved Origins foaming cleanser and a non-foaming Aloe Vera gel wash) and they all worked equally well. Side note: I did remove my eye-make up first in the evenings. Massaging

As I’m already using another lifting device, I didn’t really notice additional lift with the PMD Wave PRO but if you’re not doing this, I feel sure you’d see noticeable benefits. What I did experience was a lovely tightening sensation though. Extract mode uses negative ions to help lift and remove debris, dead skin, and sebum out of the pores (use once a week or up to three times a week if your skin doesn’t react adversely). My skin is acne-prone and on the dry side, and though I no longer have cystic acne, I get flare ups around my cycle. I’m the type of person who absolutely cannot go to bed without going through my skin routine. Without it, I’m likely to wake up with a breakout. To cleanse my skin, I used the Clarisonic Mia 2 for years, but it was discontinued in September 2020. I bought the PMD Clean Pro in July 2021 and have been using it daily in my morning and evening skin care routine since. About the PMD Clean

The PMD Clean and PMD Clean Pro have four settings: two facial cleansing modes and two anti-aging facial massage modes. I use the gentle vibration and intense vibration cleansing modes every day to cleanse my face. I haven’t experimented with the anti-aging pulsation modes as much simply because I use other treatments to target signs of aging. However, I do turn the rose quartz stone heat on when I want that extra bit of warmth for deeper absorption of my serums and skincare products, enhanced blood flow for a little flush, or to release tension. The Results: Squeaky Clean, Toned Skin Settings three and four are the ones to use with the ridged side of the brush head after cleansing to massage serums and moisturisers into the skin. The pulsing action lifts, firms and tones the skin by stimulating blood flow and collagen production. And also helps your product(s) penetrate more deeply for greater effectiveness. I tried using both facial oils and night creams and again, the device performed beautifully. Like my PMD Clean PRO, the PMD Wave PRO comes with its own charging cord. And like the Clean Pro, I found using the Wave PRO twice a day meant the charge lasted around 10 days but, as it only takes a couple of hours to recharge, this is really not an issue. There are four different settings for the PMD Clean, so you can choose which intensity feels right for your skin. Whichever one you choose, the ergonomic design ensures a comfortable and steady grip. Cleansing Tip: the beeping sound is quite loud when you use the device near your ears. I found using disposable foam ear plugs helped as I seem to have sensitive hearing. Infuse ModeAs EMS helps target muscles and stimulate collagen production, yes, potentially the device can help with laughter lines and crow’s feet. Although please note neither PMD nor I are claiming this as a fact. I’m familiar with smartphones and smartwatches but I’d not heard of a smart facial cleansing device before! Anyway, like most facial cleansing brushes, the PMD Clean* works by deep level cleansing to leave your skin dirt and makeup free. And it also helps with anti-aging by simultaneously encouraging collagen production, for a more youthful complexion. Settings one and two offer constant vibration and are recommended for optimum cleansing results. The brush bristles are extremely gentle and suitable for all skin types. With the proper amount of cleanser and water applied, using it feels like a mini massage! And your skin really does have that squeaky clean sensation after, like you know you’ve gotten every last bit of the day off of your face. I use the heating side a few times per week (more for relaxation than for skin results). I recommend using plenty of sudsy cleanser during your first two weeks with the PMD for optimum cleansing results—the silicone bristles can be a bit irritating at first. They soften over time and now feel very gentle on my skin. Another question I’ve seen asked is whether the PMD Clean is better than the Foreo. While I’ve never tried the Foreo, I know that it’s similar to the PMD in that both brushes are silicone. From what I understand, the Foreo Luna isn’t for all skin types and costs almost double.
