About this deal

The man replied, "I don't know if he is a sinner or not. All I know is that I used to be blind, but now I can see!" He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!” He answered, “Whether or not He’s a sinner, I don’t know. One thing I do know: I was blind, and now I can see!”

Several weeks later, a Police Inspector, Stuart Lindsell, visits the bank for a talk with Watling. It seems that Tafler is passing fake bank notes and the police believe Kirkwood to be involved. He replied, "I do not know whether he is a sinner. I do know one thing--that although I was blind, now I can see." He answered, “Whether he is a sinner I do not know. One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” He answered, “I do not know whether he is a sinner. One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.”He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

He answered and said, “Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.” He replied, “If he is a sinner, I do not know. One thing I do know is that I was blind and now I see.” Whether he is a sinner or not, I do not know," he replied; "one thing I know--that I was once blind and that now I can see."

Strong's 737: Now, just now, at this moment. Adverb from a derivative of airo through the idea of suspension; just now. Then he answered, "Whether He is a sinner I do not know. One thing I do know, that being blind, now I see." Then he answered, “I do not know whether He is a sinner [separated from God]; but one thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” He answered and said to them, “If he is a sinner, I do not know, but one thing I do know: I was blind and behold, now I see.”

He therefore answered, “Whether He is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I do know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.”He said therefore to them: If he be a sinner, I know not: one thing I know, that whereas I was blind, now I see. Before John realises what has happened, Inspector Rance comes into his carriage and tells him that Irene is in the clear over the bank notes. Strong's 1510: I am, exist. The first person singular present indicative; a prolonged form of a primary and defective verb; I exist.

For the most part the pace is slow and the picture is very dialogue heavy. Ronald Binge's musical score also confuses the issue of just what type of film this wants to be, it's all very breezy and akin to one of those lovely old Ealing comedies that were made with some wry social commentaries. That is until the last quarter is reached and the piece moves onto a different plane... The man responded, "I don't know if he's a sinner or not. But I do know one thing. I used to be blind, but now I can see."He answered, “Whether He is a sinner I do not know. There is one thing I do know: I was blind, but now I see!” he answered, therefore, and said, 'If he be a sinner -- I have not known, one thing I have known, that, being blind, now I see.' He answered and said, Whether he is a sinner, I know not: one thing I know, that whereas I was blind, now I see. He answered, “Whether or not he’s a sinner, I don’t know. One thing I do know: I was blind, and now I can see! ”
