About this deal

After the crew kept their distance from each other for a day and a night, Dritus emerged. He scolded Merrin when she tried to help with his balance and she concealed her hurt. Dritus wanted to confront Frethylrin and accused her of leaving them all to die, resulting in losing his arm. Kestis interrupted their shouting, but he also demanded an explanation of her lies and omissions; otherwise, she must leave the ship with Irei. Merrin agreed with him. [4] This event begins after Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi and ends at the time of the Battle of Jakku culminating with the signing of the Galactic Concordance. The Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places the events of Return of the Jedi in 4 ABY and the signing of the Galactic Concordance as 5 ABY.

Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of The High Republic: Light of the Jedi to 232 BBY. The High Republic: A Test of Courage is set concurrently to Light of the Jedi, meaning that its events must occur around that year as well.

The Nightsisters are an ancient clan of female magic users who hail from the planet Dathomir, a vergence that is strong in the dark side of the Force. The Nightsisters have a strong bond with their planet, which is why they are also known as the Daughters of Dathomir. Dathomir is an important world in Star Wars; the Sith have long sought its secrets, and Palpatine turned to Dathomir when he wanted a new apprentice. He was given a male soldier (dubbed a Nightbrother), who became Darth Maul. If you don't let me help—all of us, help—we are all going to die. Us, and eventually every Force-sensitive in the galaxy, and everyone who would ever stand up against the Imperials from now until the end of time." Peridea, Thrawn's location, is also the Nightsisters' home world. When Morgan, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, and Sabine Wren arrive in Ahsoka episode 6, they're greeted by three Great Mothers. It's these women who have been calling to Morgan across the galaxies.

In 50 BBY, [26] the clan was forced to give up the young Asajj Ventress to the Siniteen criminal Hal'Sted as insurance for protection. [8] Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Character Encyclopedia - Join the Battle! places the birth of Asajj Ventress to 50 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. As Star Wars: Galactic Atlas states that A New Hope begins in 0 BBY, Ventress' birth must have occurred in 50 BBY. Merrin: " Did you live?" Cal Kestis: " Did you hear something, Beedee?" [singsong] " Sounded almost like… someone who was worried about us?" Merrin: " Must have been your imagination. Yes, next time we're hard up for credits we'll just drop you in a cantina. You'll survive." Greez Dritus: " Hey. If anybody's gonna be makin' tips for their looks around here, it's me. You bipeds don't appreciate what a catch I am to those with real taste out there." Cere Junda: " If we're done, crew—" ―Merrin, Cal Kestis, and Greez Dritus joke until Cere Junda gets "cere-ious" [4] According to legend, the Nightsister Zeldin went after the Sith Darth Caldoth, after he stole a burial pod from Dathomir. Zeldin attempted to manipulate Caldoth into causing his own death out of revenge, but Caldoth was aware of Zeldin's presence, exploiting their connection before trapping her consciousness within his mind. [19] Though a weapon used more commonly by Jedi, the Nightsisters had adopted lightwhips by the High Republic Era. [20] In 232 BBY, [21] Jedi Padawan Imri Cantaros thought about how the Nightsisters had less rules than the Jedi and their creative, more destructive values. [20] Every time someone puts their life on the line for me, they get hurt—or they die. I'm not letting that happen to you. I can't. I won 't."Star Wars: Timelines (bonus content) places the events of " Part One: Master and Apprentice" in around 9 ABY. As Ahsoka spans a relatively short time, the events of the series must take place around the same year. During the events of Jedi: Battle Scars, which take place sometime between 12 and 11 BBY per the reasoning here, Cal Kestis states Merrin is around the same age as Chellwinark Frethylrin. Frethylrin later states that she is twenty-one years old. Therefore, Merrin must be born around the same time period as Frethylrin. As the Stinger Mantis crew traveled the galaxy together, they got to know each other better and became like a family with the Mantis as their home. Merrin regarded their differences as strengths that made them nearly unstoppable together, although they were not inclined to have "heart-to-hearts," a term she learned from Cal Kestis. [4] Frethylrin and Irei decided to go into hiding together as friends using the former's network and the latter's technical know-how. As Dritus flew them to Zimara, Merrin talked with them in the engine room and asked about their plans while her wounds were tended to by Frethylrin. Irei left them to talk privately but said Frethylrin had an offer that came from both of them. Frethylrin asked Merrin to come with them. Merrin was touched by the offer and wondered if the other two were resuming their old relationship, but they had both changed too much, and Frethylrin had met Merrin. The Nightsister told the former Imperial she could not go with her because she wanted to stay, but she was grateful for what they had together. They both hoped to see each other again and were proud of each other. [4] Ahsoka features the first live-action appearance to the Nightsisters of Dathomir, a powerful and mysterious Force cult in Star Wars. Diana Lee Inosanto's Morgan Elsbeth was introduced in The Mandalorian season 2, a key ally of Grand Admiral Thrawn who was sought out by Ahsoka Tano. Lady Morgan has returned in Ahsoka as the key villain, whose quest for Thrawn threatens to unleash war on the galaxy once again.
