Description

There’s a smoothness to the coffee, followed by the rich, nutty taste of the chocolate. The aftertaste is improved, too. Coffee can leave a bitter taste, but here, the final hit is one of chocolate, as though I’d just eaten a decent bar of dark chocolate. Is it worth investing in this eco-friendly change? Absolutely! Reusable Nespresso capsules will save you money in the long run, potentially cutting hundreds of dollars from your coffee expenses while protecting the environment.

These capsules are made from BPA-free plastic, and they’re rated to withstand the temperatures used in the Nespresso process. We appreciate touches such as this, but unfortunately, the flip-top design does get in the way of brewing crema-heavy rich espresso. Consider this option as a convenient alternative to disposable pods, but don’t hold out hope for these to fully replace the typical Nespresso experience. We say: The standard Melozio is a decent all-rounder, smooth and well balanced. With the Melozio Boost, you get that same taste only with an additional 20% caffeine. There’s a strong hint of spice and wood with this coffee, which leaves a surprisingly smooth aftertaste; there’s some bitterness, as you’d expect from dark-roasted coffee, but Stormio is more subtle than many and delivers more than just dark roasted notes. When I began researching if you can reuse Nespresso pods, I had a lot of questions. However, my main question was - does this really work? Regular coffee pods are expensive, resource-intensive and wasteful, producing tons of garbage every year. Reusable Nespresso pods are better than single-serving coffee products in many ways. We’ve tested a few for you.

I'd definitely suggest purchasing a Nespresso refill kit. It has all of the supplies you need to reuse the Vertuo pods including 80 foil seals, a brush, scoop, and bamboo pod holder. Finely ground coffee: Espresso is a type of brewed coffee that uses finely ground coffee beans. I'd suggest using freshly ground coffee to ensure you'll brew a high-quality shot. One of the most important components of any Nespresso capsule is the top. Of course, the lid is what allows pressure to build up before wonderful coffee is released. It’s this pressure that creates beautiful crema, so it’s important to find a good seal.

Nespresso says: The flavoured blend delights with its classic grilled hazelnut flavour, complemented by notes of biscuits and caramel. However, it’s worth noting that some people may be hesitant to use reusable coffee pods due to concerns about taste or compatibility with their machines. Rest assured, we’ve researched and tested the best options to ensure a seamless transition and great-tasting coffee.

FAQ’s

Get ready to reduce your environmental footprint and enjoy your favorite caffeinated beverage guilt-free with these amazing reusable Nespresso pods. Here, the extra caffeine serves as a nice boost. For those days when you need an extra caffeine hit, this coffee does it in a smooth and delicate way. Overall, that makes the Melozio Boost a slightly better coffee, in my opinion, than the original. Stormio Boost Nespresso says:Coffee connoisseurs will be astonished by the complex fruity bouquet arising from the volcanic soil and unique terroir of Hawaii. We say: Vanilla is a hard flavour to get right. On the one hand, it can be a little bland; use too much and it overpowers everything. Here, Nespresso hasn’t quite got it right, and Sweet Vanilla isn’t as nice as the older Vanilla Custard Pie in my opinion. verifyErrors }}{{ message }}{{ /verifyErrors }}{{

A smooth, very drinkable cup of coffee, there’s a lingering taste of hazelnut after each sip, with just a hit of bitterness and boldness that lasts on the tongue. A warming cup, this is perhaps best enjoyed in the evening or on a colder day. It’s a capsule we’d have in our stash any day. Golden Caramel Overall, this method works well! As you can see, the original pods versus the refilled pods look and function very similarly. Once again, the base of this coffee is a split roast: Brazilian Bourbon for smoothness and Central American Arabicas to round out the flavours. The first sip delivers a smooth, relatively sweet hit, with an earthy, toasty taste. There’s a very smooth aftertaste to this coffee, making it a pleasant coffee to wake up to. The Melozio Boost does miss out on the more intense and interesting flavours of some other coffees on this list. Use the tip of your finger to adhere the foil seal to the pod. As long as the foil completely seals the top of the pod, it will work. Don't worry if the seal is not perfectly even. We say: Designed for the Vertuo Next machines only (these capsules will not work with the older Vertuo Plus), the Carafe Pour-Over Style capsules are huge, dispensing 535ml of coffee. It’s designed for dispensing into a carafe (Nespresso sells one, although you can use any), and sharing from there.

The result is a very smooth cup of coffee, with the caramel adding depth and, perhaps surprisingly, not much sweetness. It’s a more gentle and subtle effect, but a more gentle coffee than just a simple blend. Great at any time of the day, this is an exceptional coffee and one that’s more subtle than the Roasted Hazelnut. Rich Chocolate
