Jessie is very caring towards her friends, especially to Buzz Lightyear (whom she harbors romantic feelings for) and Woody (whom has a sibling-like relationship with her). In the franchise, Jessie is a brave and excitable rag doll who carries a great deal of sadness, as her original owner outgrew her and abandoned her.
