About this deal

Any soft (XSoft, Soft) bedding substrate under the weight of the arm and mouse is squeezed, and this creates additional friction between the carpet and legs of the mouse, which results in greater viscosity, and, as a result, greater control. Mid artisan mousepads So unlike the Xsoft which feels very cushioned, and the Soft which has some give, but not a lot. This firmness has NO give at all. You cannot push down into it, resembling a hard pad more than a cloth. It creates a stable feeling surface that doesn't change when you put pressure on it or make fast movements in any direction. You lose stopping power but you get an even feeling glide that is very consistent. It's a great peace of mind for people who like to make a lot of fast and precise movements or tend to be heavy handed with their mouse (you tend to push in a lot). All mousepads are selling in cardboard envelopes so that they will always be smooth, and there is no need to wait for them to straighten. I was worried how the texture would trap dirt and grime, but so far so good. Design & Dimensions Surface

It is suitable specifically for control in motion, and the mousepad is much faster than zero in speed. This is a white cloth on which a scattering of glass balls is glued on top. That is, it is not a “glass spraying”, but a glass coated mouse pad. via vistacreate

If not sent in a flat box, it is impossible to get flat. Big wipes make it slower considerably. Also slower if you move your mouse while pressing down the mouse. Fourth, artisan mousepad has a three-layer structure: surface, substrate, and base, while the base is made of soft foam rubber with a “papillary” structure, which is molded to almost everything. Stiffer version of ROG Scabbard fabric. QC issue where weave has Y direction faster than X direction. (sometimes) The Artisan Hien is a mouse pad to consider if you don’t know if you want to go super fast but know you don’t like control pads. He has good speed, control – too, but for those who love viscous gliding, it is not the best option.

Hard bedding substrate does not have any mousepad now, but they seem to resemble those of Zowie G-CM, G-TF mousepads. via vistacreateThis change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items. To return faulty items see our Returning Faulty Items policy. What are your options for now then? Well if you are willing you can spend around 100 Euros on getting the mousepad and enjoying your experience. Alternatively, if you are on a tighter budget you can try the Odin Infinity XL which I would consider Hien’s little brother. The XSoft artisan mousepad is softer and simply molded onto the table, Mid is harder, making it easier to slide off the table. I think for most people, this is what you should get. As the surface is what makes the biggest difference in how the pad feels to use, the hardness really only comes into play once you get into endgame territory, as in you wanna buy the last pad you'll ever need. If that's you, keep reading.

The stitching is definitely high quality, all of the stitching sits below the mouse pad surface level so avoid any collisions on the sides of the pad. I have some little fray I think from where they start the stitching, but I don’t expect it to get any worse. Colors Classic Artisan pads don’t have a stitched edge while FX Artisan’s do. I recommend spending the extra money for the FX version to prevent any potential fraying on the mouse pad. The stitching on Artisan pads is excellent and do a great job of staying out of the way. Conclusion

The underside of the pad does a good job maintaining a strong grip on my wooden desk and white ikea desk equally as well. At MaxGaming, you will find mouse pads from popular manufacturers, such as ZOWIE by BenQ, Glorious, Razer, SteelSeries and Logitech, that are made specifically for gaming. Mouse pads that are made for gaming usually have a larger surface area and an anti-slip underside to keep the mouse pad in place during intense gaming sessions. Mouse pads with RGB-lighting are also an alternative to give your set up a personal touch, or a mouse pad with wrist support to give you better ergonomics when you are playing.

Mousepads themselves are reliable (they will not be fluffy and preserve their properties for a long time), however, they require care and careful use. The Kou is a medium speed pad with a large X-Y differential, the Y-axis is much faster than the X-axis on this mousepad. Finger tip grippers might like this aspect of the mouse pad, but I think it’s more a niche pad. Raiden Until this point the Artisan Hien mid gaming mousepad has received unending praises, but here is where the narrative changes a bit. So, a lot of people seem to keep asking the same questions regarding Artisan Pads, which hardness should I get? Moreover, the synthetics themselves are somewhat rough to the touch, so you have to deal with it for some time.Major Quality Control issues with surface finish (major issue). Spins out on anything that isn’t Hero. I found the Soft Hien plenty fast, but not insanely fast like the SkyPad 3.0 for example. There was still plenty of stopping power to play tactile shooters like CS:GO and Valorant. Artisan mousepads have 3 different levels of firmness when it comes to each model. They are Mid, Soft, and Extra Soft. These 3 give different feelings when using the mousepad. Some things to consider with this is firmness & speed + stopping power. For example, Xsoft has more cushion which gives more control and stopping power. The mid-mousepad is thinner and harder which improves speed. The Artisan Hien comes in small mediu, large and extra large, here are the corresponding dimensions. S
