The surprise twists and falling in love with a psychopath are just a few of the moments you’ll enjoy reading this book!! I'm super glad to have discovered this author and would recommend this duet if you enjoy romance on the darker side and RH.

I absolutely loved this incredibly unique storyline and all the characters, including Heathen (save Alex Croft)! Scout, Sully, and Sparrow are deliciously depraved and sadistically sweet. Laundry knows that Ford does not exist, and is in fact three brothers with the same face, but completely different in other capacities. Now they have her and Della, and it's a confliction for her to say they are protecting her rather than holding her captive. Landry's father is hunting her down, and it is terrifying for all to what the consequences are to be when he has her. Sully was possessive so did have an issue sharing but easily acquiesced, and was a bit of a follower though the more ‘gentle’ brother. All I wanted is for my little sister Della to be safe and happy. And maybe, in brief stolen moments, I dreamed of a happy ending for myself with a brown-eyed man. That hope has turned into sharp, bright fear. There's only survival now.

The intense conclusion in this duet that has your stomach turning, heart thundering and emotions raging in a high from the severe drama and wild plot twists. Continuing in the timeline without interruption, Landry Croft knows the truth about the Mannford triplets but she also realizes there are limited options. Scout, Sully and Sparrow are willing to prove themselves to Landry all the while offering much needed protection. However, in their world, there are always vying interests. Well, the cat’s out of the bag...and I’m not talking about Heathen. Death Wish blew me out of the water and my expectations were already pretty high coming straight off of Triple Threat. I loved both Della and Landry’s reactions to Ford Man turning out to actually be the Manford Triplets and became obsessed with watching their relationships grow. The ease at which they integrated themselves together (and the white hot spice that ensued) was fantastic and it melted my heart that each of the triplets also built their own special connection with Della, who so desperately needed a caring male role model in her life. The banter between the triplets and Landry, as well as amongst themselves, was also right on point. I also was so pleasantly surprised by the triplets’ and Landry’s relationship with Ty and was so happy to see this continue as the story progressed. Landry escaped with her sister from their life of hell with their father… running right into the triplets arms. There going to do everything they can to keep her safe. My life is perfect. It has to be because he designed it that way. I am just one shiny part in the Croft world–glittering like spun gold for all to see. And they will. It’s why I exist. To be a trophy displayed to the world. Beautiful, polite, intelligent, poised, elegant. I am everything he demands I be. Never do I argue or resist his impossible demands.”

I read these two stories individually when they released in January and March earlier this year and once again earlier this month as a boxset. Nothing changed for me in how I felt about the storyline and its unfolding so I’m not going to re-write my thoughts. I’ll just simply copy/paste for your convenience. Under the watchful eye of their Mafioso “uncle”, they are instructed to “infiltrate” the life of a powerful business rival…but not the business king…his daughter! My heart breaks for Landry so much during this story... I just want to scoop her and Della up and run away with them, giving them the life they deserve. Poor, poor Della... No 6yr old should ever have to deal with a dad like him. I guess the one saving grace is that she can't hear most of the horrendous things he says to her... But which brother was most possessive over her? Territorial? Ready to fight his brothers when he realised they were also intimate with her…TW: physical and mental abuse (not by Hs). family love. kidnapping. non-con. unaliving. group activities. Death Wish is a dark romance about redemption. This book would appeal to those looking for polyamorous story with light kink.
