About this deal

Yes, several: niacinamide, vitamin C, green tea, ginseng, phenylethyl resorcinol, Centella Asiatica, Alpha Arbutin. As for the white cast, there is none! Truly, none at all! I am a pale white woman, so I cannot fully guarantee that this will work on darker skin (and sadly I couldn’t find a dark-skinned creator reviewing this sunscreen). But, I am going to be carefully optimistic in saying this should really work for darker skin, as there aren’t any mineral filters here which could cause a white cast. If you’re active on Korean SNS, you’ll probably be familiar with Tocobo’s Watery Sun Cream. Formulated with mung bean extract (filled with antioxidants!) and hyaluronic acid, this sunscreen is raved by many Koreans because of its lightweight formula and moisturising properties.

It’s a tone-up sunscreen, so there is a slight white cast. But I find the white cast rather light, I expected it to be far worse! Nutrient-rich substances such as ‘Chateau Margaux’ wine extract promotes a fast-absorbing, non-irritating effect, invisibly retaining under makeup without leaving any white cast.If you’re already prone to breakouts or simply want a sunscreen that’s easy and gentle, you’ll be happy to know that this sunscreen also helps to protect your skin from external aggressors like dust and dirt. Think of it like a mask for your face, but you can’t feel it because it’s so light. Crafted with a blend of Panthenol, Centella Asiatica extract, Aloe Vera Leaf extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Allantoin, and Birch Sap, this ingenious formulation defends your skin against both UVB and UVA rays. Simultaneously, it lends a natural pink luminescence to your complexion, making it an ideal year-round 2-in-1 sun care solution. Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Homosalate, Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Silica, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Methicone, Pentylene Glycol, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Portulaca Oleracea (Green Purslane) Extract, Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Echium Plantagineum Seed Oil, Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Seed Extract, Litsea Cubeba (May Chang) Oil, Cardiospermum Halicacabum Flower/Leaf/Vine Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Wine Extract, Tuber Magnatum Extract, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Propanediol, Saccharide Hydrolysate, Octyldodecanol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tromethamine, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose Stearoxy Ether, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Sodium PCA, Tocopherol

which is perfect and comfortable to wear for people like me who want to feel protected in extreme conditions without having to use a product that looks like a bunch of white butter! Another inconvenience is that some products I’m talking about are so new that they are not yet available in the most famous Korean e-shops, like YesStyle or Stylevana. So, as someone who has never played golf in my life and doesn’t really intend to start, I thought this would be a perfect sunscreen for my summer in Dubai! It’s hot as hell, with humidity around 80% right now and my combination skin always look more greasy under these conditions. It’s not a waterproof product though. I remind you that it was designed for golfers. But I don’t care, I have other sunscreens for the rare times I go swimming 😉It leaves a natural “skin like” finish, and doesn’t especially mattify the skin but doesn’t accentuate my shiny skin areas too much during the day either. Premium White Truffles carefully extracted from Piedmont, Italy, infused with Tocopherol(vitamin E) make d'Alba's signature ingredient Trufferol, which is rich in antioxidants. The perfect 2-in-1 sun care product all year round, it leaves the skin naturally radiant, moisturized, and protected with its high SPF of 57.3 (±8.9) and a PFA of 19.70 (±2.5 PA++++). But really, I find it too fragrant for my taste. Fortunately, the fragrance fades after a few minutes. I don’t smell it all day long but I admit, I would prefer the formula didn’t contain any fragrance… In short, this is a great option if you don’t mind the scent!

Last year I mentioned that it could tend to sting my eyes a bit, but I’ve been using it very regularly since last year (this is my third bottle) and I don’t know if I’ve gotten used to it or what, but my eyes don’t react to it anymore. It’s true that it’s not cheap, but it’s so special that I want to forgive it! It’s a good makeup base, the foundation applies perfectly well over it. It does not prevent the skin from getting shiny during the day, though. Embrace the virtues of a vegan sunscreen that skillfully harnesses the gentle efficacy of Physical Sunscreen and the velvety smoothness of Chemical Sunscreen. This innovative blend ensures a lightweight application that drenches your skin in hydrating goodness, without leaving any burdensome residue behind. Your daily sun-care routine becomes a soothing and delightful experience, thanks to the harmonious blend of plant-based ingredients.Of course, the D’Alba Waterful Essence Sun Cream also contains white truffle extract, but that’s not all the antioxidant, plant-based goodness you can find in its silky-smooth formula! Here is the full list of ingredients for the D’Alba Waterful Essence Sun Cream with SPF50+ and PA++++: It’s a great makeup base if you have combination skin. The makeup applies really well over it and it helps it last longer throughout the day. This sunscreen feels almost like a lotion (though not as runny) and leaves your skin with a smooth, silky finish—which was a surprise because I expected a watery gel sunscreen like this to have more of a dewy finish. It’s a great makeup base. It helps to blur pores and smooth the skin. And since it’s hydrating, it doesn’t emphasize dry skin areas. Actually, it’s also super pretty if you don’t wear makeup, by the way! The sunscreen also has a therapeutic minty scent (it honestly almost reminds me of a milder version of Tiger Balm). I feel cooler just thinking about it already.
