About this deal

Monster Adapter supports AE / AF shooting with Nikon F mount CPU lenses with a built-in motor (E-type and G-type) lenses and aperture control with CPU lenses that don’t have a built-in motor (D-type). With Sony PDAF cameras, AF-C is possible for high-speed continuous shooting (up to approximately 10 frames per second) along with Face Detection and Eye AF support. After Panasonic joining the PDAF crowd I expect some new adapters showing up, among them a new F-mount G- and E-type lenses to L-mount. Basically an adapter like Nikon's own FTZ, just for L-mount instead of Z. The adapter works with both EF and EF-S lenses and converts them to L-Mount mirrorless cameras. It features an all-metal design with chrome-plated brass mounts and features a built-in Micro USB for updating the firmware of the adapter. But the main point here is that there are more settings that you should be aware off (that may need tweaking). Focus-By-Wire' lenses (such as Canon's STM or Nikons AF-P) requires power to engage the manual focus rings on the lens, since manual lens mount adapters do not power the lens, those lenses will not be able to focus.

For a start, even if a willing responder advises what they know it is very unusual for anyone to have more than one version of a single adapter type. Of course they can only comment on what they know. There may FINALLY be hope of AF Support for older Nikkor D-type Lenses thanks to this development announcement by MonsterAdapter. If you plan to adapt Nikkor D-type Lenses – you’re going to want to wait for this. Scheduled to be released late-2023 If you know any CNC machine shop guy/service that can do a custom design for you, maybe that's the only option for now. Or go to a lens repair guy and see if he can add some thin rings and replace the mount with a Fuji one. Here’s an alphabetical round-up of lens adapters for Sony E-Mount cameras including Sony a7, a7R, a7S, a7II, a7RII, a7SII, a6300, a6000, a5100, a5000 and NEX still and video cameras along with links to retailers who I use and trust: Can you explain a bit further ... why is a Techart TZC-01 possible with autofocusing Canon EF lenses on Nikon Z mount, Metabones Canon EF Lens to Sony E Mount T Smart Adapter (Mark V) doing the same on Sony's E mount, but Canon EF or Nikon F lenses on L mount "won't happen"?

I'm a bit confused by the second part of your response - the purpose of the adapter would be to mount Lumix S lenses to Fuji cameras specifically - I would expect there to be quite a market for that (if it were technically, economically, etc feasible). Am I missing the point?

I found this and this - I am more than a bit dubious though. K&F list this adapter as being for mounting Leica M to Fuji and they don't even list L mount as a category of lens for which they make adapters. Either the 2 outlets are mis-selling or they know something we don't.disclaims all liability (whether based in negligence or any other tort, contract, statutory liability or otherwise) in connection with any loss and/or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of, or reliance on, the Gallery. This adapter allows you to attach DKL mount lenses to your Sony E-Mount camera including fullframe A7/A7R/A7S cameras. Compatible with Voigtlander Bessamatic, Voigtlander Ultramatic, Kodak Retina SLR, or Kodak iiis lenses. The adapter has an aperture control ring but focusing is manual.

This Novoflex adapter mounts Leica R lensese to Sony E-Mount cameras with a precision mechanical adapter. This adapter does not transfer functions from the camera to the lens, such as auto focus, but automatic exposure metering (stop-down metering/aperture priority) is possible. Sony has announced the impending release of the LA-EA5, its newest A-mount to E-mount lens adapter. In addition to changing mounts, the new adapter provides autofocus support for Sony A-mount SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) lenses, SAM (Smooth Autofocus Motor) lenses, and even non-motorized screw-drive lenses in still shooting modes. One of the best features of mirrorless cameras is, that due to their extremely thin body design, it’s possible to mount a huge array of lenses on them using lens mount adapters and still achieve infinity focus. Unless otherwise noted, the adapters listed here are essentially hollow tube spacers than make up the differences in body depth. The Urth and Fotasy are just an extension tube to fit mirrorless. If I didn't know better I'd swear they were made by the same company. The Urth comes in a nice box and they plant trees when you buy one. The Fotsy comes in a cardboard box. MTF Services Ltd PL to Sony E Mount Adapter allows you to connect 35mmPL lenses to Sony cameras. When attached to the lens, it adds a magnification factor of 1.11x. It is compatible with the Sony A7 series cameras.Fotodiox notes continuous AF and video AF aren't currently supported due to 'unsatisfactory' performance, but other autofocus modes should work with minimal issues. It's also pointed out that some third party lenses, such as those from Sigma and Tamron might struggle with autofocus a bit more than first-party lenses. v. Maximum continuous shooting speed is 10 fps with the Alpha 7R IV, Alpha 9, and Alpha 9 II, and 11 fps with the Alpha 6600. Continuous shooting speed may change depending on the attached lens. The Urth online gallery, located at 5/74 Centennial Circuit, Byron Bay, NSW, 2481, Australia ( Gallery), is owned, controlled and operated by Gobe Corp Pty Ltd (ACN 163 651 081) ( Urth, we, our, and/or us). Once again, I really appreciate your concern regarding the flip-flopping. I was thinking about this for a week. But the bad quality slow-motion footage on Sony really looms disappointment in me that I cannot bear myself not to switch to another system Vello Leica M Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Adapter is a durable budget-priced alternative that allows you to attach a Leica M mount lens to a Sony E-mount (NEX or full-frame) camera body. The all-metal adapter is designed to fit the lens securely, yet can still be removed easily when not needed.
