Hey, for clarity I gave Floss' book a front cover endorsement quote before I saw the published product. We have spoken and she's aware of my feelings towards her book looking and sounding a lot like my already published works. I do wish her the best and hope we can use this- They also stated that while they worked with Chidera, they “relentlessly championed the importance of her voice and believed in her work” They said: “It’s really, really similar. A lot of the ideas, a lot of the phrases. It’s all there. A lot of it is copied or reworded.” To be clear, I also don't support Chidera, as she's also been accused of stealing work and experiences from sex workers, so I don't recommend reading her books either.

Beyond this, Florence still has her contract and book deal and Chidera does not. It's a fantastic book that's well written, easy to read and beautifully illustrated, but I definitely have some problems with it.
