I primarily read dark romance with heavy leaning toward both mafia and bully tropes so misplaced revenge comes up often in my reading. Honestly, I’m a bit tired of it. That’s on me though, I chose to continue reading so I promised myself I wouldn’t let it mess with my rating or review.Mary is trying to get as far away as she can from a shady FBI agent who is stalking her which is why she auctioned herself off for a night for a lump sum of money so she could run far away to never be found. She sure didn't see Ronan coming. The moment he saw her, he knew that he was going to win her, not to mention keep her safe from some really bad men bidding. He tells her that one night isn't going to do it, that he's got her for a month so let the dark & sexy games begin. They have chemistry in spades, but unlike most books, our hero is a virgin with serious scars inside and out from his training to become an assassin. And that's all that I'm going to say about that. Aiden is an Irish Mafia Don. His past left him broken and his heart frozen over. His life was hard and cruel since childhood. He had to fight to push through to become the strong and powerful giant he is now.

I was stimulated all over and appreciated the story, action, characters and at the top of my list, physical chemistry.

She hears the men running but is unable to discern where she is. In a blurry distance, she makes her way towards a bridge trying to escape a scary monster…until she feels herself floating in the icy cold water. first of all, the name, what the hell?? second of all, “mute war general”?? why is there so much description for a character that will probably be so irrelevant, it could have even done without the mute part. also war general, like i know you’re the mob but there is no need for some war general ass shit During your commute: If you take public transportation or have a long commute, you may find it helpful to use that time to read. As a couple, their attraction felt magnetic. Melina was enthralled at first meeting, and he, with her. Tytus portrayed an intensity of want, protectiveness, and ownership. Some appealing side characters too: mafia family, a former amour, and the gritty underbelly added depth and interest. There was also mystery underpinning this romance, and otherwise, great potential to the storyline, but it unwarrantedly slow to unfold. A lot of inner thinking and descriptive step by step of actions. A tease of a sex scene that doesn’t culminate. Events of the story were truly captivating though juxtaposed with a bit of minutiae. This push and pull, and I found the story wasn’t sustaining my interest.Sasha Leone will manipulate your heart into cheering for the success of this Tytus and Melina as they navigate all sorts of evil and dark crime on foreign soil… This author must have read “ How to write Romance 101” because the flowery narrative beings to get a little over the top at times. As the two are drawn deeper into the treacherous world of the mafia, their chemistry intensifies, igniting a passion that defies all odds. But Gabriel’s obsession with revenge and his plan to mold Bianca into a submissive figure add a sinister edge to their love story. The tension escalates as they navigate a dangerous game of power, betrayal, and desire. I loved the impact of their first encounter and the connection that blossomed from that moment on, slowly leading to passionate and tender moments.
