About this deal

Overall, it met my expectations, it made laugh and feel as the emotions were deff felt here given the writing and this being lily's personal journey with her recovery, and I’m so ready for Lo’s pov finally. Sex with om/ow: Yes - please reference my cheating comments. I put it there because I cannot STAND sex with om/ow and do consider that cheating after the hero and heroine met. So I put those details under the cheating category Lily has let a lot more people into her life. I’m glad that almost everyone in her life is really there for her and is helping her in this journey. I especially enjoyed Rose’s involvement. She is a really good sister. It’s important to have these characters to highlight what kind of people one needs in their own life during a difficult time. I’m also glad that we delved deeper into the root of Lily and Lo’s addictions. As I said before, side characters in this series are AMAZING and I can't wait to read about them more. I won't spoil anything, but I'm starting to dislike Ryke, the whole thing is weird to me (sorry if you like him). On the other hand, CONNOR OMG hope I get more of him in the next book.

First, with how Lily had this universal thought and believing that her addiction problem wasn’t tangible because she never had a triggering event to detonate it. It just happened and she just became a sex addict without any traumatizing event. She downplayed what she was going through and believed that everyone would think and do the same. Overall, not a book I would recommend. I was too frustrated with the heroine, and especially the finale. For such a plodding plot, it all felt rushed and jumbled at the end. Not Brown’s best. Safety: This one is probably Not Safe for most safety gang readers depending on personal preferences. Closure: This ended abruptly with what I would call a HFN ending, b7t 8m sure others would be fine with calling this an HEA They get engagedLo que más me gusta de los thrillers de Sandra, son los motivos por los cuales sus personajes llevan a cabo los delitos. She loves her sisters but just doesn’t know how to take care of them when she can barely take care of herself. She underestimates herself and what she would and wouldn’t do. She’s the biggest overthinker which is so very relatable, and it’s why I appreciate her inner monologue so much. It feels very realistic, especially with what she’s battling. Ricochet gutted me on an emotional level. At first I was afraid I wouldn't like it because Lo isn't around and I thought the long distance won't be able to compliment the book but I was surprised to find myself pleased with how the whole situation was handled. There were about four sex scenes, briefly done. One was very pleasant, passionate, and nicely done. As a sex addict, Lily Calloway must do the impossible. Stay celibate for 90 days.Cravings and fantasies become her new routine, but while Loren Hale recovers from his alcohol addiction, Lily wonders if he’ll realize what a monster she really is. After all, her sexual compulsions begin to rule her life the longer she stays faithful to him. Progress. That’s what Lily’s striving for. But by trying to become closer to her family–people who aren’t aware of her addiction–she creates larger obstacles. When she spends time with her youngest sister, she learns more about her than she ever imagined and senses an unsettling connection between Daisy and Ryke Meadows. With Lily and Lo’s dysfunctional relationship teetering and unbalanced, they will need to find a way to reconnect from miles apart. But the inability to “touch” proves to be one of the hardest tests on their road to recovery. Some love brushes the surface. Some love is deeper than skin. Lily and Lo have three months to discover just how deep their love really goes.——Companion to the Sequel: A full-length New Adult Romance that continues where Addicted to You left off. It is highly recommended to be read before Addicted for Now. Ricochet (Addicted, #2) by Krista Ritchie – eBook Details

I love Lily and Loren so much. They showed so much growth and I'm excited to see them evolve while also rooting for them to be happy together and as individuals. I didn't even touch the surface of everything and everyone that is wrong with this book. And I won't, because it is bound to put me in a rage that'll SEND ME TO A PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL. I don't remember the last time I have actually despised a book with such fervour. This is personal. I hope every single copy BURNS in the everlasting depth of hell.I loved Duncan Hatcher. He’s the hero in this one. He was heavenly. ❤ He was sexy, broody and a cop through and through. I love the greyness of all the characters. To be able to see their flaws but still be able to empathize with each character brings them to life. Even the characters you want to hate, that you feel like you should hate like Jonathan Hale, you feel such complex emotions towards him. I hate him one second but then the next he says or does something where I appreciate his character a lot.

love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.🥲 No one would suspect shy Lily Calloway’s biggest secret. While everyone is dancing at college bars, Lily stays in the bathroom. To get laid. Her compulsion leads her to one-night stands, steamy hookups and events she shamefully regrets. The only person who knows her secret happens to have one of his own.

With twists and revelations to every part of the book, this story is plagued with action, mystery and that touch of eroticism characteristic of Sandra Brown's novels. It has an extensive plot full of characters where each one has a huge role. Each and every one of the clues and revelations are put in minute detail in the right place so that in the end everything ends up fitting and surprising at the same time. But it’s also understandable that for certaines personnes the need to have a contextual response to why she was so selfish or self-centred in " Addicted To You" is necessary, even if it was obvious that her acts and thoughts were dictated by her addiction and the therapist’s sessions highlighted it perfectly. Ricochet: An Addicted Novel” is a modern masterpiece, a powerful novel that can be read on its own. This novel is written by Krista Ritchie. She is a true storyteller, and Ricochet is her best book. It’s an epic tale of family, secrets, loss, marriage, betrayal, friendships, laughter, and regrets. Ricochet is a heartfelt novel written with compassion and hope, reconciling the past to pave a road to happiness and second chances. The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality. They made reader love them, they made reader sad, they made reader angry, they made reader laugh, they made reader cry, and they made reader believe in the promise of love and home. It is an extraordinary piece of work, a perfect balancing act with terror on one side and love on the other.
