The original Atomic Driver is known to have two different mold variations, informally known as “big ball” Atomic and “small ball” Atomic. The names mean exactly what they sound like: some Atomic Drivers have a smaller free-spinning ball than others. In our Prominence Phoenix review, we pitted the Phoenix DB Core up against the Valkyrie DB Core, Belial 2 DB Core, and Perseus DB Core. With the release of Valkyrie 2, we took the opportunity to extend the testing we began in that review to find out where it fits into the Beyblade Burst DB Core top tier list for stamina.

In this review we’ll be focusing on evaluating how good the Prominence Blade and Phoenix DB Core are in terms of stamina, defense, and burst resistance. The center of the Valkyrie 2 DB Core is based on the Strike God Chip, which is found on the Strike God Valkyrie God Layer. Takara Tomy's 0 is an Armor with a smooth, symmetrical design. This design creates a stable weight distribution and high Stamina, as the design does not have weight concentrated at any particular point, instead being evenly distributed. Like the 10 Armor, the 0 Armor is highly versatile and one of the most useful Armors, and finds the most use in Defense and Stamina Type Combinations. Already, despite my botched testing setup, the fact that I was able to record all of the data about the different Disks and Armors used for each one begins to help illustrate–perhaps more adequately than the proper set would have–that this matchup is volatile. Ultimate Valkyrie is the only Beyblade to battle in the Beyblade Burst Dynamite Battle anime to not Burst in an on-screen battle. While the Rise Driver was used, informal testing led us to focus on our Zone’+Z as it has just a bit more success in both spins Life After Death-wise, and is able to grip the stadium’s Tornado Ridge a touch better. It is possible that with a particularly good Rise Driver you can achieve similar or better results. Compared to Savior, where Nexus (S Gear) Disk doesn’t tend to bring its one-shot potential any further, it was great to have the Disk perfectly complement a Blade. It was also great to not have to need Belial 2 DB Core to prevent Bursting, as the Savior Blade frequently Bursted on other DB Core options, especially if they were worn down. The B-191 Overdrive Special Starter Set features eight brand new parts, a powerful new launcher, and several other useful parts to bolster your Beyblade Burst Dynamite Battle collection.That said, my feeling is that Atomic/Atomic’ do have a bit better defensive capability than Hybrid (especially now with the burst resistance of Atomic’), so it does have that going for it. Testing Atomic’ with Dynamite Battle combos To illustrate just how impactful it was, consider that for the rest of 2017 the Atomic Driver appeared in 29% of all winning combinations listed by top players in worldbeyblade.org tournaments at the time (Source: WBO Organized Play – Public Tournament Data Archive). B-131 Atomic Driver World Spriggan Legacy (1 Star) Mobius 1S (Left) vs. World Spriggan Karma (4 Star) Mobius 1S (Right) It features an extremely wide free-rotating ball tip alongside a free-spinning ring. This affords it great same-spin stamina and an ability to destabilize opposing Beyblades in the same direction, especially if they are using a sharper tipped Driver. Atomic Driver & Atomic’ Driver Mold Differences (Big Ball vs. Small Ball) While we don’t recommend the use of Spriggan DB Core over a Belial 2 DB Core for Prominence Blade, Spriggan DB Core did not burst so frequently as to invalidate the results shown. Had it bursted too frequently we would not be able to accurately assess its Defensive capabilities against either Blade.

Many more draws were had since Savior Blade is more prone to Bursting, but with Belial 2 in mind for it, Savior Blade may clinch out some extra wins that Ultimate Blade may not even with Belial 2 DB Core. The design of Valkyrie’s “Face” is based on Victory Valkyrie. It’s the first time since Victory Valkyrie that the design of the face is a profile view rather than a head on view. Despite being based off of the female Valkyrie, as shown in the final episode of Evolution when she speaks to Valt, she has a rather deep, masculine voice in the dub.Heavy Mode on the other hand can be used by rotating the Shield 90 degrees and snapping it into place. In this mode, the Prominence Shield is much more difficult to detach, but not impossible.
