Use a light oil misting or cooking spray to help create that beautiful golden-brown colour and crispy texture. As for cleaning I found it had same issue as Teflon saucepans, that even after several washes with fresh dish soap and hot water there was an oily residue. I suspect it's because of the higher heat intensity than a ceramic saucepan would be normally exposed to. I could only remove it with white wine vinegar water solution diluted 1:1. This annoyed me a little as the tray and pan itself is lightweight and easy to fit into the sink. If you are concerned about reheated oils in your food this is another consideration. Post-capture filtering using file name, file ID, process name and PID in Pipe Monitor, Mailslot Monitor;Having used other Ninja appliances, such as the Ninja Blender & Soup Maker, Ninja Foodi Max and Ninja Health Grill and Air Fryer we knew that we were probably in for a solid, dependable experience and the Ninja AF100UK Air Fryer certainly didn't disappoint. Ninja does actually sell a slightly grander version called the Ninja Air Fryer Max AF160UK for a little more cash, but this one is absolutely on the money.

Indeed, our appliance turned out to be a good option because it’s nicely proportioned, which means it doesn't dominate your kitchen. That’s a point to note with air fryers because while they’re mighty convenient they do take up workspace. If you’re tight on kitchen real estate then it’s worth bearing that in mind. Nevertheless, the Ninja is reasonably svelte, especially compared to the similarly impressive Philips Airfryer XXL that we tested at the same time. I wanted an air fryer with ceramic coating as most air fryers have Teflon, and Teflon is susceptible to degradation under high heat and also in my experience trap odours and oil residue, something I do not experience with my ceramic saucepans. Ninja is one of few brands offering ceramic coating. Unfortunately with Ninja the element is riveted in so I was reluctant to buy because I want to be able to remove the element to clean the blades and element.Ninja air fryers typically have an operating range of between 40˚C and 210˚C. The lower temperatures are used for dehydrating on certain models, while the higher ones are reserved for classic air frying, roasting and baking. Models with the brand’s Max Crisp setting can even exceed the standard air frying temperature range, hitting highs of 240˚C. And, of course, if you want the very best, then the 9.5L is your choice. The Ninja air fryer can cook a lot of different foods Ninja Dual Zone Technology While the design is pretty comparable to most, features is where the Air Fryer excels. Like other Ninja small appliances it comes with clearly named buttons for functions – air fry, roast, reheat and dehydrate – with up and down buttons for changing the temperature (up to 210˚C, except for dehydrating where the max is 90˚C) and time (maximum one hour for air frying and reheating, four hours for roasting and 12 hours for dehydrating). There’s also a clear display showing the time and temperature selected, which can be altered mid-way through cooking if a setting proves too hot for example.
