About this deal

Ascend the platforms but once you can't go any higher, Missile the pillars to lower the platforms above you and repeat a few times Once you've saved, head behind your ship and you'll see a small Morph Ball tunnel against the wall, with Tangle Weed wiggling around inside. You can shoot this or just head straight through, but doing either will nab you another Missile Expansion. Image: Nintendo Life One of Video Chums' core principles is "it's better to be late and thorough than it is to be early and misinformed". 🧐 Pro Tips Destroy the wall with a Power Bomb and escape by taking the ledges but some Chozo ghosts will appear while you're jumping around. The X-Ray Visor lets you see platforms and other things that would otherwise be invisible Magmoor Caverns: Plasma Beam Continue forward, through the Tallon Canyon, Transport Tunnel A, and to the elevator. This elevator will then take you to Chozo Ruins West. Use this elevator to reach Chozo Ruins.

This area is where the 12 Artifacts are ultimately housed and is where you'll find the first one. In addition, scanning the pillars located in the area will reveal brief hints as to where to find the corresponding Artifact (or you could just follow this guide). Tallon Overworld Artifact of Truth When in the Ruined Nursery room, take care of the wasp enemies. While you can run past them, they’re a massive pain in the ass, so I recommend obliterating them as aggressively as possible. It’s what they deserve. You’ll find more of them up ahead, so be prepared. Move forward from the elevator to reach Phendrana Shorelines. Go into the south door and save your game. Phendrana is home to some new enemies like bombus, Sheegoths, and Crystallites. Not only will you grab a Power Bomb Expansion, but there's also a Chozo Lore entry on the wall. Scan it! Missile Expansion 28 - Training Chamber Access This guide has been very good so far, but this part is extremely confusing, as well as missing critical info:There's a very difficult boss fight coming up but it's already possible to collect 3 Energy Tanks. 😄 It’s easy, but a little repetitive. After all, I don’t think anyone is meant to enjoy being swarmed by insects. Where to go after beating the Hive Mecha in Metroid Prime Remastered Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine You know those wasps I mentioned earlier? The ones that I called a massive pain in the ass? Yeah, well, they clearly heard me.

As you go around the world scanning things, you'll notice that certain materials can only be destroyed by specific weapons: Brinstone with Missiles, Sandstone with Morph Ball Bombs, Cordite with Super Missiles, and Bendezium with Power Bombs.

Tallon IV is stunning, to say the least, but don’t let the landscape distract you from the more important matters at hand! Whip out your scan visor and scan your surroundings. Then, head into the Canyon Cavern that’s to the right of Samus’ ship. In front of you, get the Energy Tank easily by blasting the grate with a Missile. The rest of the Sunken Frigate contains many rooms where you have to power the doors by shooting red power sources around the room with your Wave Beam and Thermal Visor. Once you reach the Hydro access tunnel, do a double Morph Ball jump in the vertical shaft; you'll jump very high and you can collect an Energy Tank. Finally, take the south door from Great Tree Hall and go to Phazon Mines. It's a lot of fun poking through the crashed frigate from the tutorial Phazon Mines: Lv 1

It’ll continue to show you its weak spots before it fires out a new horde of wasps, so you'll have to be fast to fire at them before they vanish. In total, there are four weak spots on the Hive Mecha that you’ll need to eliminate, while also fending off wasps, to finish off this fight. If you have trouble finding any of these, try traversing the room with your Scan Visor. Any missing runes should be accompanied by a red square. After you scan the 4 runes, you need to scan the gate itself to open it then you should collect the Charge Beam and use it to destroy the Eyons that suddenly appear in front of you. In the Charge Beam room, you have to scan 4 runes like the one shown here Chozo Ruins: Morph Ball Bomb All the trouble was worth it, though, because you will earn yourself the Varia Suit . It protects Samus from extremely hot environments. You can't go jumping in lava, but you can explore plenty of places that contain it. Move up the Great Tree Hall until you reach the top. Go through the Ice Door. Missile Expansion 26 - Life Grove Tunnel

Metroid Prime Remastered Chozo Ruins Part 1

You've now made your way through the introductory section of Tallon Overworld and now find yourself in the bright, beautiful world of the Chozo Ruins. There's a fair bit to get through here, so keep an eye out for scan entries, upgrades, and all sorts as you make your way through the sandy environment. I'll mention specific rooms by name here so go to the map screen and the room name is displayed at the top; you can't miss it! 🗺️

From Transport Access North, go east then go south from Magmoor elevator until you see a big vault with a Missile Expansion inside; go around then activate all 3 Morph Ball slots (the third one is quite high so you need to perform a double Morph Ball jump to get inside)Before you go off hunting down the Artifacts, head on over to the Artifact Temple in Tallon Overworld. There’s a lot to do here, and Samus has her work cut out for her with the ruins she is about to explore and the fights she is about to take on in this area of the game. Our Tallon IV guides for Metroid Prime Remastered will be split into three parts, with each guide focusing on countering a different boss. Now, here’s our walkthrough of Part 1 of Chozo Ruins, and how to beat the Hive Mecha boss in Metroid Prime Remastered.
