I will say Hyaluronic Acid is high up on the ingredient list too, but below Dimethicone and Alcohol Denat. I could be miles away and L’Oreal’s chemists have found a way for the Hyaluronic Acid to still be hydrating. However, from what I’ve read and heard over the years, that’s not how I have been lead to believe HA works. Once you’ve determined your undertone, then you can move on to your skin tone. True Match Super-Blendable Foundation has shades that satisfy warm, cool, and neutral undertones, with colors ranging from fair to deep. My L'Oreal True Match Foundation review couldn't be concluded until I really put it through its paces, with two full-on days – one day in the office, which included a two-hour, slightly sweaty commute and meetings, and the other a busy Saturday which mostly involved running errands, rounded off with a few drinks with friends. If you’re after a lightweight, easy to use skin tint that will last through hot, humid weather, then the L’Oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum might just be exactly what you’re looking for! I will definitely be wearing it all Summer long, it’s so easy to wear. It looks gorgeous, it wears super well, it never looks heavy on the skin. I just love it!

Look at the inside of your arm. If your veins appear blue or purple, you’re cool-toned, while green veins indicate warm-toned skin. If you’re not sure or you see a mix of blue and green, you may have neutral undertones. Well, this has been a journey haha! I don’t think I’ve ever been confused by a formula before and had so many conflicting comments! But when we got to the application and wear test, I hope it became clear that I actually love this product and think it’s well worth the price! It’s actually a bargain for how it performs. I say that purely because it’s so like the Lancome for me and that was triple the price at least. I find the finish a bit powdery actually. It reminds me very much of the Lancome Miracle Air de Teint which has been discontinued. I used to absolutely love that stuff and one year I wore nothing but all Summer. The shades were a bit crap, too warm or too grey. However, since there wasn’t much coverage, I could just about get away with it. Since that product was discontinued, I’ve been on a quest to find something like it. And I finally have! This performs just like it, it smells the same, it feels the same on the brush and with how it applies. It lasts just as long, it’s easy to wear for Summer and I’ve found a shade much better for me! Although I find the whole plumping tinted serum aspect confusing, the actual product is gorgeous! I do agree that I haven’t found it to be comedogenic. It hasn’t broken me out or had any negative effect on my skin. I’ve worn this product about 10 times now.id": "https://www.lorealparisusa.com/beauty-magazine/makeup/makeup-looks/tinted-serum-makeup-tips", Applying bronzer or blusher is a key beauty basic, but it’s important to use the right shade and application technique for you. So how do you choose the right shade of blush or bronze to complement your skin tone? And how do you decide between the two? In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through everything you need to know to apply bronzer and blusher like a pro. " As the perfect makeup/beauty hybrid, this hydrating formula combines the advantages of a skincare serum with the radiance and coverage of a foundation. With 9 available super-blendable shades, it easily blends onto various skin tones, leaving skin with a naturally luminous finish for a flawless nude look. However, with this product, since it’s a skin tint, you need your skin to be dry? So I question how plumping and hydrating the hyaluronic acid would be. I’m no scientist though, so maybe there are other things in the formula that promote this. True Match Nude Tinted Serum is now formulated with micro-epidermic hyaluronic acid to cover like a foundation and replump skin in one hour. It's the perfect skincare and makeup hybrid. This innovative formula combines the benefits of a skincare serum with the coverage of a foundation. Available in 10 super blendable shades, this sheer formula leaves skin with a luminous finish for a natural-looking nude look. Features

But we have a solution. Rather than filling up your arm with several shade swatches or just guessing which foundation is suitable based on your skin tone, we know a few shade-matching methods that actually work. They all start with choosing a foundation that offers a range across a variety of skin tones and undertones.I agree that the finish is natural. It’s not matte, but it’s not dewy, so yes natural luminous is a good way to describe it. I will talk a bit more in a minute about how this performs on the skin and a product I think it’s similar to. I will also say now that I do love this product, it’s been performing well for me. The formula is just a bit confusing to me. url": "https://www.lorealparisusa.com/beauty-magazine/makeup/face-makeup/foundation-true-match-shade-finder" The finish for both applications was quite radiant, so if you're a matte fan, you may not get on with this.No matter how you apply it, this is not the best full-coverage foundation. I'd say it's medium coverage, verging on the lighter side. Using a brush helps it look more opaque, and you can build it up in light layers, but you'll still need to use concealer to really cover any imperfections you want to vanish. It felt nice on my skin – light and comfy – like I wasn't wearing foundation at all. It stayed in place when I added my bronzer and blush too, which isn't the case for a lot of other bases. A pretty brilliant result all-round. How about after a day of wear?

Shake the bottle well before using. Apply 2-3 drops on your palms. Spread lightly with your fingers, just as if you were using your daily serum, by smoothing a small amount onto clean skin. Recyclable I definitely agree that the formula is sheer and flexible between skin tones. It does leave a flawless finish. It’s super lightweight on the skin and you wouldn’t think you were wearing anything. Ingredients: Foundations sit on your skin's surface and their ingredients should be compatible with your skin type to enhance your overall complexion. The L’Oréal Paris True Match Tinted Serum Foundation Light 0.5-2 is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and replenish the skin whilst giving makeup coverage. It's important to understand the ingredients used in foundations as they are sitting on the skin for most of the day and can actually help improve your skin beyond cosmetic purposes. This method is bizarre — we’ll be the first to admit it — but we’ve seen it work. Hold a white piece of paper up to your skin. The white should create a cast of color on your skin. If your face suddenly appears more pink or blue, your undertones are cool, and if you give off a more yellowish hue, you’re warm. If your skin seems gray, you have neutral undertones. description":"Discover 20 stores behind 20 inspirational individuals with True Match foundation. I’ve been busy testing this Tinted Serum for the past few weeks. We’ve also been having a heatwave in the UK, so this base product has really been put through its paces! The question of how to apply foundation, for me, usually comes down to one thing – laziness levels. Can I be bothered to dig out my best foundation brush es, can I get away with using my hands? Generally, I find applying makeup with my hands tends to look better, a bit more natural, and a bit less 'done'. In the interest of conducting a fair L'Oreal True Match Foundation review, I applied with a brush for one trial, then my usual handsy routine for another. I can confirm that the formula worked just as well in both scenarios. With a brush, it looked a lot more flawless, while still maintaining a nice glow. When I used my fingers, it sank in nicely, didn't feel too heavy, and blended out nicely for a 'my skin, just better' look.
