What could be more perfect than a vacation to a vineyard with a beautiful pool with luxurious accommodations. Apparently what sounds perfect on paper doesn’t always pan out.

I loved the ending. Right when I thought I had figured this one out, a big twist comes along that wasn't expected at all and it left me speechless. It was a big surprise. This one kept me on the edge of my seat. It is not a predictable read and I thought it was mind blowing and AMAZING! This one is tied in first place in my favorite shelf for this year. Crazy good! The Curfew follows the events of a hot midsummer's night, when five teenagers go up to the woods to celebrate the end of exams, and only four come out... After the first half of the book it became a very addictive read. I was captivated in the story and couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. I was so intrigued. It was a big surprise with jaw dropping moments and lots of twists and turns. This was not a predictable read at all. Unable to trust the woman he loves, Joe finds himself at the mercy of her revelations and deceits, unsure of who or what to believe. All he knows is that her actions have brought someone dangerous into their lives—someone obsessed with her and determined to tear Joe’s world apart. seconds - it's not long is it? But for Sarah, 29 seconds will have the capacity to change her life for ever, and ultimately her boss's too, much to his detriment.

The opening scene of Trust Me is probably the most believable part of this idiosyncratic novel as it lurches into seriously far-fetched territory and didn’t make a great deal of sense to me for well over a quarter of the novel. This book had more characters than narrators and at times, it was difficult to identify who was who.

Kate, her three best girlfriends from college and their families all meet for a holiday at a fabulous Mediterranean villa in France. After reading some text messages on her husband’s phone prior to the trip, it’s discovered that he is having an affair - she suspects that it’s one of her friends going on this very same France vacation. Some friend, right? Well.......... This book exhausted me and not in a good way. It also, inexplicably, had everything I dislike in a book while having very little I like. Joe begins to have doubts: If his perfect wife lied to him, is then the rest of his perfect life also only a lie? A tasty, if not always tasteful, tale of supernatural mayhem that fans of King and Crichton alike will enjoy.I loved the character of Mia and felt myself desperately wanting to save her myself. The only downside for me was that I figured things out a little earlier than I would have liked, which ruined the surprise for me a little. But that is a personal issue and didn’t take away from the anticipation and excitement of the ending.
