Description

Another nice feature is the possibility to use wireless charging to charge mobile devices that support it. It has a very bright display. Although it does not have a tilted display like the D6 Pro or M6DAC for better viewing angle, you can still see the screen very well even under sun light. The main benefit of it is that it offers 300W when powered by A/C, where the D6 Duo does 200W. It's a little bigger, than the D6 Duo, but another plus to me is the metal frame instead of plastic. Der eingebaute Micro-USB-Anschluss für ein viel einfacheres und schnelleres Firmware-Upgrade. Spezifikation HOTA D6 Pro has also an USB port on the right side to charge devices like smartphones, power banks and so on.

This is the Hota D6 Pro lipo balance charger, the Hota D6 Pro is a two channel device, this allows you to charge two Lipo’s simultaneously, the Lipo’s do need to be the same cell count or capacity. Pokud hledáte jednu z nejlepších přenosných, chytrých nabíječek baterií pro RC modely nebo drony, pak je nabíječka HOTA D6 Pro výbornou volbou.Umí najednou nabíjet dva až 6 článkové LiPo baterie a k tomu ještě bezdrátově váš smartphone.

The Hota S6 is a great charger, it does everything you need if you fly FPV drones, but for some people the older and cheaper D6 Pro might be enough. Take a look at the specs comparison here.

On the front we have two XT60 ports and two balance ports: due to the dual channel output (100W per channel), HOTA D6 Pro can charge two different types of LiPo at the same time (for example 4S LiPo batteries and 6S LiPo batteries). The charger can be used as a DC power source as well, and it has battery discharge function (up to 15W per channel). USB output in the ToolkitRC is more powerful and modern, it’s rated for 65W and supports various protocols such as PD, QC, AFC, FCP, SCP, PE, SFCP, VOC. On the other hand the HOTA only has a simple 10W 5V USB output. If you have a modern mobile device that supports one of the faster charging protocols, the ToolkitRC will be able to charge it much faster, you can even use it to power a soldering iron like the TS80P, which is not possible with the HOTA. It’s important to note that you don’t always need to meet the exact power requirement. You can still charge the same number of batteries at once with a lower-power charger, but charging will be slower due to a reduced current. Supported Battery Types Each port is protected by a 15A fuse, which helps prevent sudden current surges between batteries, safeguarding your batteries during charging and shielding the charging board from damage. In my opinion, this feature is essential in parallel charging boards. While fuse blowouts are rare, you will need to replace them when they do. These fuses are automotive types commonly found in cars, and you can easily find affordable replacements online (make sure to get the ones with long legs):

The ToolkitRC P200 PSU (review) is also worth considering. It’s a versatile 200W power supply you can use for various tasks. It features adjustable voltage output and current limit, is compact in size, and has a USB-C output for charging mobile devices and cameras. It’s crucial to choose a charger that supports at least 6S LiPo batteries, meaning it can charge LiPo batteries with six cells or fewer. In 2023, 4S and 6S LiPo batteries are the most common cell counts used in 5-inch FPV drones, so a 6S-compatible charger should cater to the majority of your charging needs.

Maximum capacity -> it is the value corresponding to the maximum capacity of the battery, so the charger will stop if this value is reached During charging, you can see the progress in percentage, the total voltage, the charging current, how long it’s been charging and other many other useful information displayed on the screen. Ext. discharge (it is possible to connect an external resistance to discharge at a faster rate or even connect another LiPo and charge this one with the energy removed from the one we want to discharge) Pod displejem se nachází 2 nabíjecí konektory XT60 a balanční konektory. For example you could use channel 1 to charge a 2s lipo and at the time charge a 6S lipo on channel two. When I am using the iMars Dual LiPo charger, I don’t really feel much a difference from the D6 Pro or the M6DAC, the interface and operation are very familiar. But the buttons are slightly more cumbersome to use than the scroll wheel, so I prefer the D6 Pro and M6DAC in terms of user friendliness. It can charge many types of battery that are commonly used in FPV, and it can also measure IR (internal resistance) during charging which is useful for monitoring battery health. This is why in this article we are going to analyze the HOTA D6 Pro, a battery charger with all the features needed in the RC world that has also a lot of aspects pointing to increase safety.

Das innovative intelligente Programm unterstützt vollständig intelligente Batterien und alle anderen Batterietypen.Featuring dual output channels, it functions like two independent chargers, enabling you to charge different voltage or battery types simultaneously. The built-in AC power supply eliminates the need for an external power supply initially. However, the 100W per channel limit may require a more powerful external power supply (650W or higher) through the DC input to fully utilize its potential. Just based on the specifications, there are certain desirable qualities from the new ToolkitRC M6DAC LiPo charger. First of all, charging power when powered by DC is slightly higher with the M6DAC (700W vs 650W). To calibrate the M6DAC, simply turn off the charger, hold down the roller button while powering up. To scale down the voltage, increase the scale value. HOTA D6 Pro is one of the most complete battery charger right now on the market especially considering the amount of features and value for money. Safety timer -> allows to set a maximum charging time so, even if the charging task is not complete, the charger shuts down.
