About this deal

I also loved the whole mystery about the possible danger that this car might bring i Rachel smiled at her sleeping niece. "I bought a few more hair accessories last night. Since she has so much hair, we'll have to style it." Professor Gabriel O. Emerson was and always will be my FIRST book boyfriend. January 2013 I was introduced to Sylvain Reynard outstanding sensual and lyrical writing with Gabriel’s Inferno novel.

Julianne Mitchell, a compassionate, kind young woman, is still struggling to overcome a childhood of neglect and abuse. When she enrolls at the University of Toronto, she knows she will see someone from her past - a man she met once, in an encounter she has never forgotten. Gabriel cannot recall what Julia knows: that they have a shared history rooted in an important moment of their lives. Gabriel’s Inferno was the beginning of a series that changed my vision of life and transformed me in ways that I never thought any story could. The series is beautifully written in a poetic way that tethers masterfully the lives of their characters in a profound way, along with aspects of art, literature, and personal growth, intimacy, sensuality, and a depth of love that is so powerful that it can be felt in your soul. We keep seeing this in his latest installment of the Gabriel’s Series. Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well known Dante specialist from Harvard who made a name for himself at the University of Toronto. He’s now a full time professor at Boston University and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with his wife Julia and new baby Clare. Gabriel and Julia were a few months away from their second wedding anniversary, and had come a long way since she was his graduate student. They’d survived scandal, and separation, and now life was about being a family. As they are settling in to being new parents they encounter unexpected drama, new opportunities, and academic challenges. Through everything they continue to put family and their love first. In Gabriel’s Promise we are fortunate to see how the Emerson’s cope with parenthood as they welcome their daughter into their home. Of course, there are plenty of shenanigans and visits from much-loved friends and family members of the Emerson’s we have all come to know and love. Carolyn Kellogg (2012-08-01). "The '50 Shades' effect: 'Gabriel's Inferno' lands major publisher - Los Angeles Times". Articles.latimes.com . Retrieved 2012-11-16. Sylvain Reynard (7 January 2020). Gabriel's Promise. Penguin. ISBN 978-0593097984. ASIN 059309798X. I loved to see the importance of family. Family stays together and they cheer and support each other no matter our disagreements or how different we all are.

Don't take me wrong, there were some good parts but nothing that would make my heart race as was common with previous books. So if you are huge fan of this series like myself, I suggest to give this book a chance to see for yourself. Maybe you will like it better than I did. But make sure to lower your expectations...Although Gabriel had done his best to silence Christa and to combat the rumors, the whispers continued. Now, a few months away from their second wedding anniversary, Gabriel kept his own counsel, not wishing to give voice to his worries. But in truth, he feared he'd tainted Julianne's career. At this time, the academic community was far more forgiving of its male senior faculty than its young female graduate students. His enthusiasm for fatherhood had outstripped her expectations. She remembered the first night they'd spent in the hospital, after Clare was born. Gabriel held Clare all through the night and would not be parted from her. Oh, what fun we'll have," Katherine whispered to the child. "I'll teach you Italian and all about Dante and Beatrice. When you're old enough, I'll take you to Florence and show you where Dante lived." It's been years since I've last stepped inside the sexy Professor Emerson's world, and it took this latest release for me to realize just how much I missed him and his beloved Julianne. Enamored with this couple from their first enchanted night spent under the stars in the apple orchard, through all the trials and tribulations they endured, they have become some of my most cherished storybook characters. Beyond thrilled to see their journey was continuing. A new chance to witness, once again, the love they share strengthen as well as seeing their family grow with the adorable Clare. As expected, there was a whirlwind of drama surrounding this couple that had me on edge and totally captivated, as the overly passionate and protective Gabriel promises to keep his loved ones safe. Now I will admit that I read this book a few months ago and for some reason didn't write my review which is terrible on so many levels. But if I had I wouldn't be able to add this: I got to see Julia and Gabriel come to life this weekend thanks to Passionflix which will be bringing the series to us and it just reinforced my love for this series. I cannot wait for the next installment.
