I loved the character of Sloane and liked how she had to see herself differently so she could move on properly. But Sam hardly has time to worry about a lost gym bag—she’s struggling to keep herself and her family afloat. Without getting into it very much, Ranald shows a great case of gaslighting and I wish had spelled things out in those terms so that Sloane could have had a conversation with herself about that.

If you’re really not sure what’s going on and feel you need to talk about it, consider doing just that.
