There are quite a few common irritants in this product, including ingredients without particular skin benefits. Exactly what it sounds: nice smelling stuff put into cosmetic products so that the end product also smells nice. I can also put it on my lids and my under-eye area without it bothering my peepers, and because it’s unscented, I can apply as much as I want without getting a headache. I’m an NC42 in MAC, and I think it suits me pretty well, although I can see a subtle, sheer cast when I apply multiple coats.

Super common little helper ingredient that helps products to remain nice and stable for a longer time. I have opted to start avoiding applying liberally in the eye area and using an SPF concealer around my eyes for added protection.
