About this deal

Tony Iommi comes off as a coke-and-ego-crazed butthole quite a bit of the time, which was a bit of a bummer revelation (not a surprise though). Some working class lads seeing hearing the Beatles perform "Love Me Do", scrape up enough money for basic insturments, and work their way across Euripe to build a fan base.

Featuring Geezer's candid reflections on his working-class childhood in Luftwaffe-battered Birmingham, his almost-life as an accountant and his fascination with horror, religion and the occult, Into the Void reveals the softer side of the heavy metal legend, while holding nothing back. I do seem to adore mountain climbing books, although it’s a totally vicarious experience as you could never get me on one of these expeditions. Butler's narrative is thankfully not devoid of ludicrous humour which resonates with Ole Twerks here. In 2003, fifteen years after it was first published, the book was turned into a documentary film of the same name, directed by Kevin MacDonald.Proclaimed by many as the heavy metal or heavy rock creators, and Butler is willing to take credit at this point in his life.

About the Author: Founding member Geezer Butler is the longtime bassist and primary lyricist for the groundbreaking heavy-metal band Black Sabbath. Setengah dari buku ini adalah sebuah petualangan yang bikin gue geleng-geleng kepala disertai perasaan perut teraduk-aduk dan tulang jadi terasa ngilu. When he reached the glacier he could see from below the position in which Simpson had been hanging and observed the large crevasse immediately underneath. His emphasis on good health through a vegan lifestyle, sobriety and commitments to family reveal a more complex and well-lived person running his life. When I escaped the nuns and partook of the forbidden fruit of the seventies, Black Sabbath was my soundtrack. Rather played down in places, but he does say the the acknowledgements that some of the original manuscript was deemed unsuitable for modern readers, which is a bit of a shame, but there you go.

Born just down the cobblestone from the bombed out Spitfire factory, it is no wonder where Geezer got gloom from.

The slope that Simpson was being lowered down became gradually steeper and eventually he went over the edge of a cliff and was hanging free with his whole weight on the rope. A man whose down-to-earth, honest clarity exists in contrast to his mystical and spiritual openness.
