About this deal
Getting to the end of this book feels like completing a journey with Cardan and I think it is a journey all fans of The Cruel Prince should embark on.
Like Taryn’s novella The Lost Sisters, How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories revisits instances we already know about. Larger-than-life action in a kingdom packed with self-centered, evil, and manipulating characters also doles out real life issues. this book only made me wish for dual pov’s in the entire series, and it honestly would’ve made the experience ten times better! We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. An illustrated addition to the New York Times bestselling Folk of Air trilogy that started with The Cruel Prince, from award-winning author Holly Black. But I'm hoping this is Holly's secret way of telling us that there will be more Cardan short stories (WITH JUDE) in the future. She wants to fight monsters, and she wants him for a lover, the same boy she fantasized about murdering. So so beautiful, the pictures in this book are so stunning and the storys are beautiful and interesting. she was like alright lemme take your favourite YA bad-boy-with-tragic-past and decide to publish a novella about him with GORGEOUS artwork.
Overall, this was an amazing addition to the series and I just wish it was longer because I didn’t want to finish it!This tale includes delicious details of life before The Cruel Prince, an adventure beyond The Queen of Nothing, and familiar moments from The Folk of the Air trilogy, told wholly from Cardan’s perspective. I mean, I can think of at least three scenes from the first book I wanted to see in his perspective. None of them will leave me wishing that i was the one who wrote that book because this entire series has everything i could ever want in a book.
