About this deal
Still, it's a great TV for gaming, as it has superbly low input lag and variable refresh rate support for a responsive, nearly tear-free gaming experience. It has good image quality out of the box, that while not reference or highly accurate, is good enough for the use case this TV will fulfil. It's an excellent TV with impressive picture quality with its Mini LED backlight, which lets it display deep, uniform blacks with almost no noticeable blooming in dark scenes, so HDR movies look fantastic.
It also has fantastic peak brightness in HDR, and thanks to its impressive local dimming feature, blacks look dark, inky, and uniform in a dark room, and bright highlights stand out incredibly well.
You won’t much bass here, for one, but the sound is never harsh or grating, and holds up even at higher volumes. We are reviewing the 50-inch version of the A7G and the larger sizes in the UK use an IPS panel, while the 50-inch is a VA panel.
Like other Hisense TVs, it comes with a VA panel with deep blacks, but its local dimming feature is sub-par, struggling to keep up with fast-moving objects. But to do this, it will collect data about what you watch and use it to improve targeted advertising.
