I found the side characters in this book really likeable, especially Hank the dog (I'm always a fan of the dog), but felt that they were maybe too minor and I would have enjoyed them more had they featured more largely in the story. Gorgeously written, full of complex characters, and friendships as strong as the central romance -- all Clayborn staples. She takes a break and comes home to her rural hometown due to feeling like huge parts of her are simply “blank”. And win the lottery solely so I can afford to donate enough to a fancy college so that they have to name the library after it!As the two make their way through her wishlist, Georgie begins to realize that what she truly wants might not be in the pages of her diary after all, but right by her side—if only they can both find a way to let go of the pasts that hold them back. Kate Clayborn's gorgeously written romances are a perfect counterbalance to the current wave of high-concept rom-coms. I am not usually one who goes for that sort of thing but with the romance factored in Clayborn nails it. I also enjoyed Georgie and Levi, finding their contrasting personalities really enjoyable - who doesn't love the grumpy x sunshine trope?Honest and deeply emotional, Georgie All Along is a smart, tender must-read for everyone who’s ever wondered about the life that got away .
