My main criticism is that this book is labelled as a book for beginners, however the content gets increasingly more difficult towards the end of the book when Loomis dives into complicated perspective and shadow construction drawings with little explanation to aid in understanding them. The reverse side has some tape reinforcement along the top and bottom and the folds as well as several careful paper repairs to the spine tips. While I wouldn't mind looking at his other books for technical drawings, even I wouldn't recommend this book to a beginner, for the above reason alone.
