Description

All in all, it's a fantastic book for those who have air fryers and are looking for more recipes for it. There are also plenty of recipes with meat as well as a chapter on main courses with meat and seafood. We had a few favourites at the top of our air fryer cookbook list: the Epic Air Fryer Cookbook, the Ultimate Air Fryer Cookbook and Bored of Lunch, but it was the impressive imagery and easy recipes of the Air-fryer Cookbook that takes the top spot. All the recipes in The Epic Air Fryer Cookbook use easy-to-find ingredients and feature short prep times and fast cook times. In just a few simple steps, you can cook everything in your air fryer, from Katsu sweet potato curry to Crunchy ice cream balls with chocolate fudge sauce.

Ingredients are listed in grams and kilograms, and each recipe is short and simple, often with as few as three steps. Featuring chapters on tasty breakfasts, light bites and sides, flavourful mains and irresistible sweet treats, each section has an even split of vegetarian and vegan recipes.

I am looking forward to preparing the asparagus and goat cheese frittata, patatas bravas, tempura shishito peppers, and crispy fried shallots. Your best chance of making baked goods will be in a single-tray, flat-bottomed air fryer with quite a large capacity, so maybe don’t get your hopes up if it’s a dual-zone you own. So if you're like me, it might be an idea to get this, since this shows you many ideas for what you can do. Excited to try new recipes and find new favourites, we set our to try as many appliance-tailored cookbooks as we could find.

The author is always honest, clear, and helpful about how best to select ingredients and prepare a wide range of appetizers, entrees, and desserts – noting which recipes might go well with others. The ingredients aren't difficult to source or 'bizarre' and they really will appeal to a family aesthetic. But we will first stress that it does have a health and/or weight-loss angle, with calorie counting at the top of each recipe and phrases such as ‘slim down’ and ‘keep an eye on calories’ in the descriptions, which people are sure to either love or loathe. In between, you will find lots of substantial meatless main courses, like Sesame-Orange Tofu and Broccoli , Turkish Cauliflower Fritters , and Zucchini-Feta Pancakes with Tzatziki Sauce . To be honest, I didn't actually make any of the recipes yet but the instructions seemed clear and there were great tips, like using your sense of smell to tell when food was done. It doesn't just stick to American fried food--which, overall, I've kind of grown out of wanting to eat for the most part--and to my delight even featured recipes for Indian foods.
