Gameplay is similar for both old and new versions, notwithstanding the different Action cards in both.

The older version of Uno Attack is known for having a high number of Action cards (eight to be precise), while the newer version has done away with all of them, leaving only the Wild Attack-Attack card. This super cool Electronic Launcher makes the classic game even more exciting, shooting out cards at high speed when players push the button. On February 13, 2018, Mattel released a spin-off of Uno entitled Dos; the game is differentiated primarily by having a "center row" of discard piles, where pairs of cards that add up to the sum of a card on the top of one of the piles may be discarded.

If cards shoot out, that player must collect all the cards and add them to their hand (even for cards stuck halfway in the Launcher).
