The themes of that story are much more appealing to me compared to the other Dan Brown novels I've read. And, whoever read The Da Vinci Code would think this book does not measure up to the other book's penmanship. But before Rachel can make her findings known, she realises, perhaps too late, that such knowledge puts her and Tolland in deadly jeopardy. He and the Delta Force team under his command would kill anyone who is a threat to his plan, even Marjorie Tench, the president's adviser, who once had disagreed with him.

An amazing tale with enigma piled on secrets stacked on riddles -- Clive Cussler A case study in suspense. But before they can alert the relevant authorities, a mysterious team of assassins follow their trails with a fierce determination to kill. The discovery will aid the campaign of her employer, the incumbent president of the United States, Zachary Herney, but put her further at odds with her already estranged father, Senator Sedgwick Sexton, a senator who is running for election. Accompanied by a team of experts, including the charismatic academic Michael Tolland, Rachel uncovers the unthinkable: evidence of scientific trickery - a bold deception that threatens to plunge the world into controversy.

There are people who swear his books are the best thing they've ever read -- I certainly wouldn't say that. new experimental `IM' weaponry - Improvised Munitions - snow rifles that compacted snow into ice pellets, desert rifles that melted sand into glass projectiles, water-based firearms that shot pulses of liquid water with such force that they could break bones.

Rachel attempts to reason with Pickering, saying that murder is not a justifiable way of solving the problem. The discovery comes at a time close to the United States presidential election in which her father is running. The second feature that separated Deception Point from other lesser lights in the thriller genre was his exhilarating use of technology! Senator Sexton then reads the fax message his daughter sent him to the public, possibly incriminating the President and NASA. If you like techno-thrillers, NASA-related novels and/or Dan Browns books, certainly you will enjoy to pick this novel. They report it to Mangor, who confirms that there is sea water in what should be a closed area with only freshwater. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. He reaches into the water to obtain a sample and falls in due to an attack by microbots operated by the Delta Force team.
