I always enjoy a new Baldacci novel and I really like Aloysius Archer so I was looking forward to this one. Absolutely recommended for folks who like their action with that perfect historical, American noirish edge. A tasty, if not always tasteful, tale of supernatural mayhem that fans of King and Crichton alike will enjoy. Luck and grit keep him alive in both Vegas and the City of Angels, which is rife with gangsters and crooked cops.Dream Town is the third book in the Archer series, and if you love mysteries set in the glitz and glamour of 1950s Tinseltown, this one won’t disappoint.

Another great story … But it’s the last in the series of Aloysius but the scene is set for his next adventure. In fact, David Baldacci seems to be writing a whole slew of characters of late that I’m finding absolutely compelling, and I’m loving it.
