About this deal

There will be a variety of Sigma Global Vision products and accessories available to show as well as a Sigma technical adviser here to answer any questions you may have. The Celestron Powerseeker 127EQ, with German equatorial mount, has the longest focal length in the Powerseeker Telescope range at a 1000mm, this provides excellent magnifying power. I would recommend getting a decent 32mm eyepiece, the lower power will open up so many more objects that the telescope is suitable for. Additional Eyepieces – Eyepieces serve as our arsenal, offering different magnifications for celestial objects. Powerseeker Telescopes are easy to assemble, no tool set up required, most can be set up and ready to use in around 15 minutes.

Ideal for near and brighter, deep-sky observation, Celestron's PowerSeeker 127EQ 127mm f/8 Reflector Telescope provides a focal length of 1000mm and a large, parabolic mirror that produce detailed images of the moon, clear views of the planets, and the ability to provide images of distant objects such as nebulae and galaxies. Celestron’s FREE planetarium app is an astronomy suite that redefines how you experience the night sky. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.

The Celestron Powerseeker 127EQ Telescope has superb light gathering power due to the large 127mm primary mirror. Solar filter – Customized Solar Filter for optical equipment for observation and photography of sun during eclipses, transits or general Sunspots observation on solar disk. It is a good idea to get some idea of how to orient yourself in the night sky by first reading some books on the subject. Many discoveries can be made even with the smallest PowerSeeker instrument: even the 50mm aperture PowerSeeker will show detail of the craters on the Moon, the four largest moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn.

The dovetail is too short to allow you to slide the scope to adjust balance, and the lack of any rings means the angle of the focuser is fixed. Plenty of double stars can be resolved with the LT 76AZ but you may have a hard time finding them or keeping them in the field of view, especially at higher magnifications.

The finder scope is also terrible and will probably resort to fitting an Air Rifle scope in its place! Download Celestron’s Starry Night Software and learn about the night sky, celestial objects, and how to plan your next observing session. Uranus and Neptune are merely fuzzy dots, barely distinguishable from stars if at all, and with moons far too dim to see with such a small scope. The only downside is it's quite hard to focus, and the little focus scope gets knocked out of place really easily no matter how hard you tighten it. But fiddly to find things as the finder scope and telescope probably need to be better aligned (setup issue).

T-Mount/Adapter – To attach any DSLR directly in the eyepiece barrel when using in combination with DSLR T-Ring. Now, Celestron is using that same technology to allow star gazers to connect to the night sky and enhance their experience of the cosmos in fun and unique ways. Go behind the scenes with Celestron’s product development team and learn more about our award-winning and patented innovations. Astro offers slightly better performance than smaller 100mm tabletop reflectors and vastly outpaces the Astromaster LT 76AZ, without the complexity of a collapsible tube as in the Sky-Watcher Heritage scopes. However as Saturn is not going to be making a convenient appearance until mid 2017 (July/Aug) no real rush. The brightest emission nebulae, like the Lagoon (M8) and Orion Nebula (M42), look good provided you can escape the worst light pollution conditions, though they pale in comparison to the views through a larger instrument under dark skies.

You can see the phases of Venus and Mercury – though the latter can prove challenging – as well as the polar ice caps and possibly a couple of dark markings on Mars when the planet reaches its closest distance to Earth. For technical support on how to use the product etc, our team will share manuals, PDFs and other online resources as available. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. The optical óres are treated with multiple layers to increase the luminosity and sharpness of the genes. A range of apertures are available in the Celestron Powerseeker range to cater for different budgets and types of Celestial viewing, the current Powerseeker range includes 50mm aperture entry level telescopes such as the Celestron Powerseeker 50AZ Refractor, Altazimuth Mounted Telescope, through to 127mm Celestron Powerseeker 127EQ Telescope with Equatorial Mount, controlled using slow motion control knobs. Saturn’s rings and possibly the Cassini Division within them can be seen, along with stripes on Saturn and a few of its moons.
