Alas, it looks like they couldn’t get the ‘Roll up your sleeves’ song from ‘I Can Cook’ (which would have been the best thing ever) but a big huge hurrah, as this new compilation – released today – has the Cbeebies presenters songs included for the first time – something these compilations have been missing for a while. I also like to sing along to "Meet the Veggies", though Eddie tries to stop me, saying "Don't want it", when I ask him what he didn't want, he replies "Mama singing". I have never realised just how many CBeebies songs and tunes I know until we listened to a newly released CD " CBeebies The Album" (and if you are a fan of CBeebies, today, 5th of November 2012, is the day when you can get your own album).When the Yacki Song from Baby Jake came on I honestly thought she was going to burst with excitement! In fact, it’s got pretty much every current Cbeebies character’s song, so you too can dance around the room in a crazy manner to the Yacki song from Baby Jake. Parents here in the UK certainly can't be in any doubt that their TV Licence is value for money and that's all thanks to the wonderful CBeebies.

We've a couple of long car journeys coming up this weekend and LMC can get a bit impatient to reach Granny's house on these trips, so I'm hoping that having familiar music like this will help to distract her for a while longer as we head up the motorway. I think in time as little man enjoys this album more and more the will enjoy listening, singing and dancing to most of the songs even ones that he is not currently familiar with.
