At least for now (late 2013) you can get a 7 ml sample set of all six on-line (enough to get to know each scent well, with multiple applications). Like APH, Tuscany's is of the kind of wafting aromatic character that radiates discreetly but noticeably, and is actually far more pleasant than the (still decent) skin scent. I loved it for its softness, velvety smoothness, exceptional blending, and relative classiness as compared to the other much more "in your face" aromatic fougeres of the day. The cologne features a coastal, deep marine scent that is more subtle than its contemporaries; it’s the perfect option for a more relaxed, daily scent.Aramis Tuscany Per Uomo is a distinctively sensual fragrance that embodies Italian style and passion.

I’ve tried to use every other similar perfume even went to private makers but never got even closer to the atmosphere generated by Tuscany per Uomo original formula. I couldn’t agree more-my vintage bottle was purchased in winter of 1990 in Las Vegas at the mall by my then girlfriend. Tuscany has discreet but decent performance by contemporary standards, and solid enough construction to dial back to a light wearing if you don't want to come on too strong.But I loved it anyway so my then girlfriend (now wife) gifted me the lighter 'Mineral Spray' version which was a good deal more manageable. The middle notes of anise, patchouli and amber and base of leather, tonka and basil give the fragrance its air of rich, sophisticated masculinity. On the drydown it smells similar to the opening with a pleasant limey vibe with the scent of anise, basil, oakmoss, and leather.
