So ganz nebenbei: Man scheint das ja wohl tatsächlich in jenen feuchten und nebligen Wäldern des US-Bundesstaats Washington gedreht zu haben - oder zumindest in der Nähe davon, in der Gegend von Vancouver. Among its claims to infamy is the instant-classic sequence in which Willem Dafoe encounters a rather talkative fox in the woods.

As far as I'm concerned, and as hard as it may be to understand, I consider this disc a must own for any discerning film lover's library.

Again I was a little disappointed the supplements concentrated more on the technical aspects of the film I must admit they were all still rather fascinating and each one is still worth going through. Quite a fascinating inclusion, especially when we first see how the scene was shot, which doesn’t look all that special, and then get to see the finished product, which is really quite mesmerizing. Thankfully the supplements are all quite engaging, and still feel better than most other similar features found on big studio releases. Cannes 2009 This is another section of special features, broken down into smaller bits, that all center around the film's thunderous unveiling at last summer's Cannes Film Festival in France. In a cynical sort of way, Antichrist shows that sex is a form of therapy that works (religion isn't even mentioned).
