The lens incorporates a new focusing system which powers two high-grade elements using dual linear motors for ultra-quick and near-silent focusing. For me these pictures are so sharp and detailed its ridiculous (once again there is no sharpening added other than the minimal default level mentioned earlier). As before I framed the shot with the 75mm, then repeated with the 40-150mm from the same position, adjusted to deliver the same field of view.
