DM falls somewhere between Derivation and Medianoche - an Imperial Stout that we had the pleasure of brewing with our friends at Weldwerks more than 2 years ago. By gently decanting the Zenne y Frontera, the aroma of this unique lambik will evolve from vividly tangy to a complex nutty and fully fruity bouquet. Blessed is a blend of 1 and 3 year old bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stouts finished on TONS of coconut and Madagascar vanilla beans.This year's version features a little twist of aging the stout in Rye Whiskey Barrels with a mix of Mexican and Madagascar vanilla beans! The blend is crafted to be consistent in a house style year after year and relies on a proportion of reserve wines to ensure this style is acheived each year by the master blenders. Its aromas are radiant, revealing bright white-fleshed fruits (apple, pear, white peach), citrus fruits, floral lime blossom and elegant blond notes (brioche and fresh nuts).

Incredibly intense, this beer will be a true gem for the faithful fans that seek it out and get to try it. Thanks to the long maturation, the geuze-like notes of our authentic 3 Fonteinen lambik are well accentuated by the typical, fine Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez characteristics. After aging for 28 months to 24 months in Weller 12yr and Rittenhouse Rye barrels, we blended to taste and infused the beer 4 times with raw and toasted coconut and then finished it with Mexican Vanilla Beans.For Rye Beer : Barrel : Time 2022 we finalized a blend which consisted of 2 different recipes, brewed 3 different times and then finished in 3 different barrels for 18 to 42 months.
