About this deal

If you like Mission: Red Planet, Broom Service, and other hand-management games, we think you will enjoy sneakily managing your crew in Libertalia: Winds of Galecrest!

There’s nothing more satisfying than revealing the cards only for someone to see you about to put a teaspoon in their microwave, and to hear the groan (and possible expletives) that head your way. Since all players will hold the same group of cards, ties will occur regularly, and these are broken by the game’s reputation track. It will be published in a number of languages from the following partners: Grok, Feuerland, Matagot, Phalanx, Ghenos, DeltaVision, Maldito, ALBI, 999 Games, and Surfin’ Meeple. e., a number between 1 and 40) and some type of special ability, which are broken into four types: Daytime, Dusk, Night, and Anchor.

At two, I found that I needed more clarification around what happens to certain cards with the fixed pseudo-third-player overlay and they weren’t necessarily in the rule book. The game is played over three voyages, each of which has an increasing number of days and therefore loot tokens. You would think that squaring off against someone who plays with open cards would be a degenerate experience in terms of difficulty but because the Pilferer is the first one to draw from the solo deck of cards you will never know exactly which one of the target priority rows the Automa will activate. If matching characters are played, the player with the higher reputation (based on the reputation track) places their character to the right. You do this by sending a pirate to the island each day, reaping the benefits of any powers they have, and then choosing which booty you bring back to your ship.

I saw the question on the Facebook (shared post from The Mill) and after watching the unboxing I looked at Wingspan/Viticulture box to see if there are the dimensions printed on the box. Me, I’m just excited to play a game I had only ever heard good things about, but because it was out of print, I couldn’t get hold of! Norway can fall under the VOEC (VAT On E-Commerce) agreement, but you have to register with the Norwegian Tax Administration. In addition, the icons in the right column of the flowchart indicate which crew card the Automa will play from her hand which is represented as a row of faceup crew cards. It won’t please fans of heavier strategy but for everyone else, with its simple rules and bright components, it makes for a fun-filled outing to the high seas. Based on my high praise surely then this is nothing short of a slam dunk, an instant and obvious recommendation for any solo board game player to pick up a copy of Libertalia: Winds of Galecrest as soon as humanly possible? You and the Automa can’t impact it either, it’s just there to remove loot (and make it less likely for you to get what you want).
