Maggie9157 Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne Delightful champagne which had the benefit of being on offer .

I have also grown to be a great fan of the magnum, which ages in a grand fashion developing great winey qualities and Burgundian notions. It is created with Pinot Noir grapes from 10 different Crus located mainly in the South and North areas of the Montagne de Reims, including the finest Crus from the famous Côte de Bouzy ‑ Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours‑sur‑Marne. Founded in 1812, the Laurent-Perrier Champagne House reached its golden age in 1948, thanks to Bernard de Nonancourt's dynamism. In it's immediately recognisable bottle, this is a great non-vintage rose, for those whom Krug Rose is just out of reach; every bottle is every so slightly different in colour - mine had a touch of orange about it - but it's usually salmon pink, dry and with small bubbles that are the hallmark of a quality fizz. You should also note that the picture images show only our serving suggestions of how to prepare your food - all table accessories and additional items and/or ingredients pictured with the product you are purchasing are not included.

Cuvée Rosé's enticing colour comes from leaving the skins in during pressing rather than blending red and white wine together. With fine mousse and lively flavours of wild strawberries, raspberries and ripe cherries, this lovely pink fizz is a treat at any celebration. During the 1950s, he created the signature Laurent-Perrier style of freshness, finesse and elegance and developed a unique range of champagnes which are today exported to more than 160 countries worldwide. It works perfectly at home too, with soft, creamy cheeses such as Chaource, Mussy-sur-Seine, and Langres, and with desserts such as a berry fruit salad.Meticulous sorting of the grape bunches and controlled maceration help extract the colour and reveal the full aromatic richness of the pinot noir grapes.

Bright salmon in colour, with orange tones, this wine is produced by the maceration method using Pinot Noirs from 10 Montagne de Reims villages, including Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-sur-Marne. Eugénie Hortense Laurent, her daughter, inherited the House in 1925 and sold it to Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt in 1939. The Laurent-Perrier portfolio consists of eight champagnes from the prestigious Grand Siècle, to the iconic Cuvée Rosé and the latest addition to the range the Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature which was launched in 2019. In 1948 it was Mary-Louise's son Bernard who took over the reigns becoming Laurent-Perrier's Chairman and Chief Executive, he remained and important part of the buiness until his death in 2010.The timing of maceration is crucial and legend has it that the first Chef de Cave, Edouard Leclerc, slept by the tank to stop it just in time! Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. During World War II the owner, Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt, built a false wall and hid 100,000 bottles behind it to protect them from marauding German soldiers.

Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by André Michel but it was his cellar master Eugene Laurent, who ran it with his wife, Mathilde Emilie Perrier. Full of energy and ideas, Bernard was unafraid to challenge convention and had a modern vision of a champagne style that was lighter on the palate and could be enjoyed any time. The personal touch can make all the difference with a small message which could say anything you like. It is produced from 100% Pinot Noir with a controlled period of maceration to extract the gorgeous salmon-pink colour and the full aromatic richness of the variety. Eugenie Hortense Laurent, her daughter, inherited the House in 1925 and sold it to Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt in 1939.Although originally founded in 1812, the name Champagne Laurent-Perrier was not conceived until 1964. In 1939 Eugenie Laurent sold the House to the de Nonancourt family and in 1948 Madame de Nonancourt passed control of the House to her son Bernard.
