About this deal

Taking place in 1988, there are a couple of plot lines with related characters, all revolving around Scotland Yard’s DCI Warwick. Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book before publication in exchange for an honest review. But the means in which Warwick and his team captured Faulkner crossed the legal line putting his career in possible jeopardy. Published in 1979, Kane and Abel is one of renowned storyteller Jeffrey Archer’s best selling novels. They're very well written, so it must be that I'm just not used to the style (and the number of characters to keep straight).

And he’s extremely disappointed to find that the Princess is having an affair but can only stand by and ensure her safety and privacy is his number one priority.Hollywood Legend Paul Newman Discusses Life, Acting and Aging Gracefully in Newly Discovered Memoir Publishers of the newly discovered memoir say the Hollywood legend wrote the book in the 1980s in response to the relentless media attention he received during that time. Because of the lead up on the front cover, I had expected the book to be more about security protection for Diana, Princess of Wales. This may result in small marks to the dustjacket and title page, please also bear in mind that each signature will be a little different from the one we show here. With such responsibility, comes great pressure and so Detective Chief Inspector William Warwick and his Scotland Yard squad are sent to investigate the team.

Previously published in the anthology Cat O’Nine Tales, this is the story of a star athlete who has a fateful run-in with a three-hundred pound woman. Archer proves that he’s got many ideas to share and I hope he’s able to finish this series before laying down his pen. It also follows William's wife Beth, as she divests herself of a job she is no longer enjoying and sets herself up in business - with Christine! The sweeping saga of the Cliftons―across generations, from Europe to America, through heartache and rivalry and triumph―is about to reach its stunning conclusion. William Lowell Kane is a rich and effective elite magnificence, whilst Abel Rosnovski is a pole who was born in a scenario of wonderful poverty and finally migrated to the United States. As Diana rushes all over with her newest paramour, someone is planning something that could turn Britain, and the world, on its head. But after he is expelled he gets caught up in an international incident that could put his life in jeopardy . But when the lightbulb of understanding finally turns on, from that point in both books I didn't want to put them down. Their hitherto smooth operations have hit a snag — Miles Faulkner, a wily criminal mastermind, has charted an audacious theft that could upend history itself.

I have long admired the work of Jeffrey Archer, which mixes an intensity alongside something highly entertaining. Mightier than the Sword opens with an IRA bomb exploding during the MV Buckingham's maiden voyage across the Atlantic - but how many passengers lose their lives? In the third novel in Jeffrey Archer's William Warwick crime series, a new Unsolved Murders Unit is set up by the Met in London, with the sole aim of catching criminals no one else can. Her protection and Warwick’s involvement in that becomes the main story and provides the fast-paced action the series has been crying out for.

As William and the team get closer to bringing the Viper down, Wiliam is faced with an enemy from his past. Next in Line is the fifth book in the William Warwick series but it is the first one I have read; in fact, it is the first book by Jeffery Archer I have read.
