Comey does a great job, illustrating the investigative and judicial side of a case throughout, keeping the best for last in this stunning debut thriller.This is a legal thriller that primarily follows Nora Carleton, a US Attorney, dealing with organized crime, whose latest case has a connection to the murder of a Harvey Weinstein-ish ex-governor. Comey’s experience as a New York City mob prosecutor brings plenty of credibility to this fast-paced legal drama. I’d be interested to know how much os this book was plotted and written by Mr Comey himself and how much help he had but overall I enjoyed it. He proved himself to be a fine storyteller, with a life that had given him plenty of fodder for stories.
