Cosmic Sounds (HD, 13:40) — As usual when it comes to the creative process of scoring, I just couldn’t get enough of this remarkable featurette. track is also astounding, and - similar to Dunkirk - some of the most LFE-centric full-bodied audio you'll likely ever come across.

Clarity/Detail: Detail is all abound here from the endless amounts of wrinkles, stubble, hair follicles and swirling dust particles to the gorgeously chiseled ice planet that Mann (Damon) inhabits. Academy Award® winner Matthew McConaughey stars as ex-pilot-turned-farmer Cooper, who must leave his family and a foundering Earth behind to lead an expedition traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars. Of course none of these conversations here would be remotely possible without the inclusion of Kip Thorne, whom I discussed at length up above in the film section. Not to mention that his action scenes are wonderfully framed and expertly constructed as to lead you through an experience rather than splattering you with chaos. Nolan is as old school as they come and used a film camera as opposed to a digital one that most filmmakers use.Former NASA pilot Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) lives on and maintains a working farm with his, 10-year-old daughter Murphy, 15-year-old son Tom, and father-in-law Donald. Cooper, along with a skeleton crew, head off into the bowels of space and head for a wormhole that will allow them to travel beyond our solar system. You are completely immersed in this one and obligated by the aggression of it at times while others swept under the spell of the tender, heart wrenching moments. Color Reproduction: Unlike the 1080p Blu-ray version the colors in this 4K presentation are all remarkable here. However, my observations on the audio and video presentations of this Interstellar 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release are all new.

The Space Suits (HD, 4:31) — Here we have a look at the design and build of the suits and helmets, and what it was like to wear those 30-35 pound monsters.At journey's end, the overall package is highly-recommended for fans and those hungering for some of the best HDR goodness currently available. Though when food became scarce, traveling the stars in spaceships seemed like a gargantuan waste of money. It was explained in here as an array to display time as a spacial dimension and that it was one of the most difficult things to design in the film. The Dust – The dust, which played a big part in the Earth sequences, was done on film as opposed to during post-production, for a more realistic effect. Vivid, richly-saturated greens seem to pop out the most during the farmlands scenes and aboard the space station orbiting Saturn, but secondary pastel hues are also brimming with a boldness throughout.
