As mentioned it is the same as the original Gucci by Gucci which I always liked, so obviously going to like this. I still can detect it at the 5h mark if I really smell it up close, but everyone in my family said they couldn't smell it at all anymore (that was about the 3h mark). The Tobacco and leather blast is the most attractive part of this fragrance as it draws a bit of attention. I sprayed it on me and I was mortified that I bind bought this, "this is disgusting" I even said to myself, then my mind changed as the drydown came along, and then I enjoyed the scent.

The tobacco note is instantly recognizable from the first spray, but instead of an old-school tobacco note, this one is distinctively modern. This 'was' a signature scent for me, now that it has been discontinued its more of a special occasion fragrance because its becoming more expensive and much harder to find sealed/authentic bottles. I don’t get it, why would you decide to discontinue the only fragrance that is actually selling and smells the best from your current mens collection without releasing a replacement for it?Even though it has tobacco in the notes, don't worry its not overwhelming like tom ford tobacco vanille.

The sharpness of the perfume seems to come from the bergamot, which opens up and becomes distinct after a few minutes, yet it doesn't overtake the complex nuance of tobacco and green notes. I remember smelling something on a few women in ‘07/‘08, which I thought had an interestingly similar profile, but I never thought to ask what it was.Venerated by many, but hated by many more because the tea note they incorporate into that fragrance can come across as inky and/or metallic. I personally don't wear fragrances like this too often because they really aren't "me", but this one might grow on me.
