Deathly Pale Ale's label featured a skull and crossbones, but it looked like poison and was swiftly changed before release. There were rumours of an old bottle of Deathly Pale Ale in Southwold’s Red Lion, and the idea was to make something that resembled it. We are involved in trialling some vegan finings but the results so far aren’t good so I don’t think this situation will change soon. Ghost Ship is inspired by one of Adnams’ most haunted pubs in one of the UK’s most haunted villages: The Bell at Walberswick. Its compatibility with the PerfectDraft system ensures a professional draught experience, bringing the authentic taste of British ale to your home bar.

Brewed with PAle Ale, Rye, Crystal and Cara malts we use Citra and a blend of other American hops to create a great citrus flavour. Their mini-kegs contain around eight pints, or five litres, of delicious award-winning beer; making them perfect for parties, barbecues, or celebratory gatherings. Earlier that year, our master brewer, Fergus spent and evening talking hops with Brooklyn Brewery’s Brewmaster, Garratt Oliver, and the team from Brewers Select Group. NMB was set up after seeing a gap in the market for a national supplier of rental drinks dispensers.After encountering similar issues, the beer remained pale, but the design was reviewed and thoughts turned to shipwrecks and ghost stories. It's not practical to keep traipsing back into the kitchen to keep refreshed, so why not keep a 5-litre keg on standby instead.
