The moisture was building up a little on the inside of the tent, but it was building up even more on the inside of my sleeping bag LOL.

First pitched in snow it worked perfectly, Woke up to torrential rain once that had turned the ground into a pool, the groundsheet stood up to the task and didn't let a drop of water through. I've had my 'Backpacker' for over 15 years and, despite the fact that I have other tents at my disposal, it still gets used for backpacking and motorcycling travel. I have never had condensation (I leave the front mesh uncovered a little bit to help air flow), I woke one morning to find it covered in ice it was still warm inside.

Having no groundsheet in the porch, seemed to allow quite heavy moisture build up on the underside of the outer. Inside this 2 person tent, was just enough room for a regular sized sleeping bag, roll mat, and a minimal amount of kit (small items really, that could fit between you and the sides, without pushing the inner onto the outer). With its lightweight and space saving design, this Eurohike tent is designed to meet the needs of those backpacking, hiking and trekking. For people just starting out in cycle touring and don't want to break the bank with super light gear, or just want to see if they like camping, I would recommend this tent to get you going.

The new and improved Backpacker Deluxe tent from Eurohike is the ideal outdoor shelter for a couple who enjoy trekking and hiking together. If it could have been 10 cm higher it could have been much more comfortable but also heavier and then I found that most of the tents with similar specifications and size are around and also lower than 1. With a lightweight design however, doesn’t come a loss in performance, the Backpacker Tent is designed to be taken to the extreme, with a hydrostatic head of 2000mm, the tent is more than equipped to tackle the downpours the UK experiences in all seasons. It didn't take long to dry out though and I guessed that it was condensated because we had experienced a lot of damp over the two nights, the latter being the colder of the two. After putting it up you have living space that will allow you to get your camping mat, sleeping bag, kit and yourself comfortably in.Breathable polyester inner wall with mesh door - designed to keep insects out and manage condensation. One feature I love is the ability to raise the outser shell before the inner, this means you can pitch this tent in the rain without too much fuss.

Made in Bangaladesh from polyester, (inner and fly) with a flysheet HH rating of 3000 and well stitched one really can't grumble. Mine is the older design with two zips and a single large door, I can see why the changed the design to the single zip and tie back doors as the rain goes everywhere when opening the door either during or after rain.The sewn in groundsheet is very sturdy, far more so than my other tents all of which cost a lot more and all of which require an extra groundsheet weighing 300g (ish).
