Urethane — Unlike epoxy, urethane flooring isn’t intended as a coating for repairs or for increasing the aesthetic quality of existing flooring. The product has an excellent wear, impact and abrasion resistance like heavy foot and vehicle traffic. With some products, the container will not be big enough so we suggest having a clean bucket to hand.
If your concrete floor is in poor condition, a seamless resin floor topping ( Monarflow) should be considered. New concrete floors or will need time to green this generally is a period of 3-5 months from when the concrete floor is layed, we say 3-5 months as it depends on the thickness of the concrete and quality, it’s always best ask the supplier and fitter of the concrete floor as to how long to wait till painting. As well as being resistant enough to bear the weight of a steady stream of traffic, the smooth and seamless surface created by epoxy coating is more forgiving than other types of flooring on the machinery that travels over it. Most colored epoxies and clear epoxies will yellow and fade if exposed to UV whereas a Polyurea or MCU will not.
There are rapid drying version and others with additives or different mixes which may impact this (if you used a builder to lay it, they may offer some guidance on this). Our super-strong coating dries in just 4 hours leaving your walls with a smooth, dust free finish that is easily cleaned.

After mixing, pour the solution onto the floor and use a stiff-bristle brush or a broom to work the etching solution into the concrete. If your floor has been subjected to oil we recommend first priming with RFC Oil Contamination Primer this will prevent the oil from attacking the paint from below resulting in flaking.
