About this deal
I find the octonauts very bearable as an adult, unlike some children's programmes which really grate on your nerves after a while. The only downside I can think of is that the game's theme is really secondary to the gameplay/mechanisms. The episodes are: 'Whale Shark', 'Undersea Storm', 'Crab and Urchin', 'Walrus Chief', 'Flying Fish', 'Giant Squid', 'Orcas', 'Great Algae Escape', 'Remipedes', 'Blobfish Brothers', 'Lost Sea Star', 'Giant Kelp Forest', 'Speedy Sailfish', 'Monster Map', 'Albino Humpback Whale', 'Enemy Anemones', 'Narwhal', 'Midnight Zone', 'Snapping Shrimp', 'Snot Sea Cucumber', 'Giant Whirlpool', 'Hermit Crabs', 'Mixed Up Whales' and 'Kelp Forest Rescue'.
Since I know Hazel loves the show and I like her watching it, I jumped at the chance to review and giveaway a copy of the newest Octonauts DVD from NCircle Enterntainment.
You get three CDs (in normal boxes - packed in to one cardboard pack) and loads of episodes, so it's great value. The show is based on books written by Meomi and we will be reviewing one of them during this giveaway as well!
As a parent I find it has very good story lines that incorporates educational material about undersea animals and marine life.To be honest, mum and dad enjoy watching it too as we find the characters quite entertaining and the banter between them very amusing. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
Kwazii and the Octonauts help their friends the coconut crabs discover who is stealing their Coconuts. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. My favourite Octonaut is the engineer, Tweak - a green rabbit with a Southern US accent, who's always got a 'bunch of munchy crunchy carrots' on the go. The show will arouse their curiosity and feed their imagination, answering questions in a journey of discovery through the world’s oceans.
