No, but after two full days of using the MX Ergo, I found I could accomplish normal workflows in nearly the same amount of time—but still slightly longer—than they took with a conventional mouse.

Since you don’t need to move your hand around, MX ERGO is great for tight workspaces and busy desks. That sounds great in theory, but I was a bit apprehensive as I unboxed the MX Ergo, because I perform repetitive mouse tasks all day long and I wasn't sure I'd be able to do them as quickly as I'm used to if I had to adjust from moving my wrist to rubbing a trackball with my thumb. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. It’s ideal for tight workspaces, or for those of us that have desks full of papers, personal items – and sometimes even a bowl of cereal.

You can use it flat on your desk, or you can tilt it 20 or 30 degrees to the right, as Logitech recommends. You can connect the Logitech MX ERGO to your computer either via Bluetooth or its proprietary receiver, and it can connect to two devices at once. Love that I can just connect to my laptop with bluetooth as I have a habit of losing the little dongle on my old one. The Logitech MX ERGO is a better ergonomic trackball mouse for office use than the Logitech ERGO M575. Had a Logitech wired trackball which gave up after 15 years use and now this Ergo MX appears to be a contender for longevity, time will tell.

I design for work and use a tablet/keypad setup and switched to a trackball to help with my emergent CAD/digital sculpting endeavors.
