Mercedes-Benz immediately chose it for the advanced W196, Fangio scoring a first-time-out victory for both oil and car when he won the French GP in ’54. per cent — was sufficient to confer its high film strength on the mix, and thus Wakefield Motor Oil (Castrol Brand) was born. Off to the Rudge and Velo Owners Xmas dinner today - no doubt stirring tales of hip replacements, prostate problems and almost certainly riding the silver rocket! Primarily designed for the racing world; however it's unique properties also benefit private owners interested in high performance. I used to race a TV 200 with a GP200 engine (home-tuned cast iron barrel) in the cutdown class and the engine ran brilliantly.

Castrol R 40 SAE 40 4Stroke Racing Engine Oil is a castor base motorcycle oil for classic or racing application. t do it for me castrol R40 is the one ,you can get it in ltr bottles here don't know about down under. I fully appreciate it will add no performance benefit at all but I would love to gently perfume the countryside if I could do so without breaking my bike. If you want to smell the 'perfume' of burnt castor oil, put a very small amount (max 10 cc) of castor oil in a 5 litre container of petrol, shake it thoroughly and add it to your petrol tank, then fill the tank with petrol.I do virtually no road riding, I only ride around the fens here and so maybe the hares, deer, foxes and general bird life might enjoy a slightly perfumed world!

I used to think I was a petrolhead because I could syphon petrol and not gag until I saw my mate testing hydraulic fluid by dipping his finger into it and tasting it. Based in London Richard takes care of local deliveries personally and delivers across the UK and Europe. This may change if you run the R mix through an engine, have heard that burnt R residue can turn acidic if left for a while, not good for engine internals on an infrequently used bike ? Aways ran 80-1 on 747 and never a problem with the trials bikes and imo it is the best 2T oil you can use.

With a range of products to suit almost every kind of vehicle, Castrol's leading product for demanding motorists is Castrol EDGE with its new Titanium FST (Fluid Strength Technology). This same behaviour in an engine made cold cranking difficult on startup, while oxidation of the lubricant at combustion temperatures could, literally, gum up the works. You might like to start with 1000:1 fuel:R ratio (20ml of R in a 20 litre fuel tank) and see how that works, adding more oil if there is insufficient effect. Allow it to permmiate your pores and the heat from your man blobs will evaporate it off and fill the air with a manly humm.

I now run it religiously in my rally car and it gives steadier pressure than the Millers CTV I ran before it. Since 2010 Castrol Polska together with BP Polska have been part of BP Europa SE based in Hamburg, a company managing the operations of all BP markets in Central Europe.I've seen this A747 advertised so will get round to trying it after my present experiment, but what's Maxima 927?

I had a burn up back to The Smoke along with A3 with John Wright - still sorely missed - on the Montlhéry Shadow now owned by Arthur Farrow. I am not trying at all to be facetious with the following comments indeed it is of genuine life saving importance. Have run 747 for over 10 years in our 2 stroke trials bikes and also KX 500 supermoto monster, it is perfect for 'em. We don’t really recommend it for use in modern machinery because there are more suitable modern oils available such as Castrol Power 1 Racing 10W-40 and Castrol Power 1 GPS 10W-40.

I hadn't a speedo, just a rev counter (that didn't work, of course), and JW pulled alongside me near Ripley and pointed at his clock, showing just over a ton, before pulling gently away. Oils such as Castrol R don't mix well with mineral or synthetic oils and go all snotty (technical engineering term), so don't lubricate much. The same system could also inject water into the inlets, for two purposes, preventing detonation and so allowing higher compression, and also cleaning the cylinder head. The idea is not new, and since the advent of the lack of availabity of "pure gasoline", I believe there are more guys than ever doing the same.
